I know. In addition to the letter posted here from Holcomb, my county chairman sent out an e-mail saying that while "in theory" having open elections instead of the "secret ballots" sounded good, in reality having to VOTE on everybody would be a "nightmare" because all the time and work involved...
Rambone and Paco, did you get e-mails from Eric Holcomb telling you NOT to question their choices and just to say yay because there were too many parties going on and too much to do in Indy to waste time "voting"?
I did.
He didn't. I'm a lady. I don't have a clue who rambone is. There were 1800 delegates at the convention.
Today when I got home from the convention, I googled the Indiana Open Conventions to see if ANY of the media or anyone on the web was covering the "secret ballot" versus "open convention"...
I am a member of the teaparty and an elected delegate. Just got home from the Indiana Convention. I can vouch for Rambone. He is not exaggerating. Everything he says is fact. I watched it happen and was shocked.
I wish the members of the teaparty group I belong to had gotten the information...
What rambone means is that Indiana delegates do NOT even know until the meeting starts WHO the nominees are for national delegate. Nobody can check out or get information about the candidates or where they stand on ANY issues in advance.
The delegates have NO input. Can't object or ask...
