TSA 2 Gun Match 4th Sunday every month (3/25)

Hey folks, As you know, the weather did not play nice again this month. It's been a brutal year. If ya want rain, just wait till the 4th weekend of the month. The bays are looking good with grass starting to grow but a bit splotchy right now. Since we could not shoot, I re-seeded it...

TSA 2 Gun Match 4th Sunday every month (3/25)

Hey Guys, Thanks for the kind words and yes, it did turn out pretty good. The ground was a little muddy but right after the match I got it seeded and its been raining for the last couple days so it should germinate. :) If someone wants custom pouches for a reasonable price, Walt, the other...

Muzzle break on Kel-Tek Sub 2000???

Good point RVB, on the boring. As far as the .22 idea, this isn't a short time gig. I have a 1 in 3 chance of it happening again for the rest of my life. So if I want to keep shooting, I have to do whatever I can to make it easy on me. I have been reading oodles on these things and some are...

Muzzle break on Kel-Tek Sub 2000???

English teacher???? Sorry, I had a brain fart. It happens. Especially now-a-days. (I'm quite familiar with "brakes".)

Muzzle break on Kel-Tek Sub 2000???

Hey Guys, Thanx for the help!! Snorko, I already did some "tricking out" to it so I'd rather not sell it. Plus, I have/want the Beretta mag 9mm so the mags will fit my Walther P-99 (for 2 gun), and I had to do a bit of searching to get one. Nyle, I already have the site removed and the...

Muzzle break on Kel-Tek Sub 2000???

Has anyone ever put a muzzle break on a Sub 2000? (9mm) I know, most people would ask "why?", but, I am recovering from a detached retina and in order to keep enjoying my sport, I have to eliminate as much recoil as i possibly can, now, and in the future for fear of the 1 in 3 chance of it...

      Protective eye gear

Thanx for the tip Dawg. I know Oakley is very highly rated but, just dropping that kind of coin on a piece of plastic, well, is hard to swallow. But $41.00 is something I could take. At least without heartburn. :)

      Protective eye gear

Thanx Ryan. I'll bet they are. But do you know anything about the lens or what to look for. I'm not looking to cut into my ammo money to heavily.

      Protective eye gear

Hey Folks, I have been shooting since 1966 in one form or another and competitively for a few years now and have finally been giving thought to some "purpose driven eye protection". I've always just wore my Cool-Rays or safety glasses but I think I want some "yellow" shooting glasses and/or...

      Reloading sub-forum?

I vote "split" as well. The "I found this..." stuff makes it like posting a picture of your meal on facebook - irrelevant. It IS nice that people actually care enough to do try to help but... :dunno: :twocents:

Does anyone know how to make ammuntion?

I concur with the previous posts of "Go for it!" It's Class Project not an immediate business venture. And if you come up with something good, out of the box, even better. Hopefully you and others can benefit. I was told that a welding shop would not go over in my town because there wasn't...

      147 gr 9mm w/ titegroup

I'm going to try 4 different loads tomorrow. All using 147 cast bullets. Titegroup - 2.5 and 2.8 gr. as per Lymans manual. And Win 231 3.2 and 3.5 gr. Hopefully that will be a good starting point. Altho it shouldn't be an issue, I'll be watch cases and primers for too much pressure. Thanx for...
