I would say it is a big deal, especially for a dot gun. Yes, for me it is a good match. If I was shooting a Glock still, maybe not so much. A lot of people do shoot different pistols but apparently don't notice what you are talking about, or are just way better shooters than me.
Is anyone using this ? I picked it up about 2 months ago and have shot as of tonight, 20,012 "rounds". In short it is a virtual reality shooting simulator. I should start by saying I have not really played video games since you actually went to arcades to do it. Like say the late 80's. That made...
Interesting. I have had a sweep used against me in the past and it was, disconcerting. Is it a high skill move or is it more that it is something that you have to be good enough to be playing chess to fit it in at the right time?
Excuse me as I am heading to the range to work on my 25 yard...
Maybe? I will be doing a review on it here soon. If you already have a Quest system I would say probably. I had to start from scratch so I have quite a bit into it.
I do. I cycle and alternate a number of standard exercises. I use the first 12 out of Steve Anderson's refinement and repetition book alternating doing them stationary and moving. On other nights I use a drill I picked up from PF that can also be used live fire and is done at 15, 7, and 3 yards...
Shot my first match of the season Saturday. I did far less live fire over this last winter than normal. I was doing the 5X5 playing card drill every week and the RM DOM's but not a lot more than that. Dry fire nearly every day though. Good to hear from you again. Hope your summer goes well.
Give it a try. There are some top shooters who use a similar grip, though they are the vast minority. I don't use it because it only works on some handguns for me. Often it has the effect of pulling too much of my support hand off the grip itself which is no bueno.
From Chuck Haggard. I don't know why it didn't all copy in. You can find it on Facebook.
As part of my small guns, aka “Pocket Rockets”, classes I talk about ammo selection and do a short ballistics gel shoot of examples of good and poor choices.

I have had similar thoughts. As you know, we based much of our class off of Craig's material and I can't think of anyone better at what he does. I have participated in Suarez 0-5 ft gunfighting a couple of times, which has a ground and combative component, likewise their TASI class. I did Paul...
