What else is very similar to reloading?

to me, upgrading components is a little more like upgrading rifle parts. perhaps if some guitar players wound their own strings or something. but yes, there is some similarity.

What else is very similar to reloading?

I reload, and I make espresso (among many other hobbies). I found they are quite similar (I even use the same scale). What other activities are similar to reloading? precision, experimentation, fine tuning, etc etc...

      Gladiator Workbench for Reloading?

I think you could build yourself something better and bigger for the money. also, it really helps if the bench is bolted to the ground or wall so it doesn't move when you raise or lower the press handle on stubborn brass.

ordered SMK HPBT 77's to start. will shoot my nosler 77's to sight-in, then reclaim that brass.

Miwall has small rifle primers and quite a few others in stock. I called them and spoke to two real, nice people, seems legit! I just bought 2k winchester #41. https://miwallcorp.com/search.php?se...1&category=239

I guess I should really buy three boxes. some 55's, some 60-somethings, and some 77's and see what the rifle likes.

hornady, sierra, and hodgdon all said those powders will work perfectly well for what I want to do. I likely will not be shooting very far, I just shoot paper at 100-300y on my property. I just want to see what the rifle is capable of and I like load testing.

hornady and sierra both said 77 would be right in the sweet spot, but that lighter/shorter bullets will likely work as well. the problem will be finding small rifle primers.

have you checked your factory ammo and fired cases against the saami specs? be good to see how they conform (or not) https://saami.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/02/ANSI-SAAMI-Z299.4-CFR-Approved-2015-12-14-Posting-Copy.pdf pdf page 51 (document page 39) shows that the chamber is .001 larger than...
