Indy 1500 Gunshow why you are or are not going.

I'd like to go, but probably won't. Baby number 3 was born last week, we need a new vehicle, and trying to save some cash for Christmas.

      454 Casull

The .454 Casull uses .451-.452 diameter bullets just like the .45 Colt. The 45-70 and many other 45 caliber rifle cartridges use .458-.459 diameter bullets. I've heard of people using 45 caliber bullets designed for rifles in the .454 Casull but they were swaging them down to .452.

      2019.....Double barrel revolver. Oh my.......

I'd like to get one for the novelty if nothing else. I like strange guns and they aren't terribly priced.

      Underwood Ammo Locally

Four Guns in Lafayette has had some in a few different calibers every time I've been in there. Personally I haven't seen it anywhere else.

      Speed Shooting a .500 S&W Magnum

Kentucky Ballistics has been my favorite YouTube channel for well over a year now. Very impressive.

      Cobra Firearms 9MM Derringer

I've had a few Davis derringers in the past. They had very heavy trigger pulls and were difficult to cock. I've always thought derringers were cool though and that led me to buying several Bond Arms derringers, of which I currently still have two. I like shooting them and have carried one...

      Your favorite "YouTube" firearm reviewer?

I started watching Kentucky Ballistics over a year ago and that is easily my favorite YouTube channel.

Anyone still like Single Action revolvers?

One is a 7.5" BFR chambered in .500 JRH with a .50 AE cylinder. The other started out as 7.5" 45-70 but I sent it to JRH advanced gunsmithing and had it re chambered to 50-110 WCF. It will also shoot the shorter 50 Alaskan. It has a muzzle break and a modified grip frame to help control the...

Anyone still like Single Action revolvers?

I love single action revolvers. I have several Rugers, ranging from .22 LR/WMR to .480 Ruger. I really like the Magnum Research BFR, I currently have two. And last but not least I have a few NAA Mini revolvers, the break top Ranger 2 is really cool. Good to see other people enjoy single actions.

      Best .380 Platform

Personally I really like the Ruger LCP 2. It has a good trigger, is light, and it's been reliable for me. I had the LCP 1 and personally I feel like the LCP 2 is much nicer, not that the LCP 1 was bad, just that the LCP 2 is that much better. As far as .380 defense ammo goes there is a very...

      Your First Handgun

My first handgun was a stainless Ruger Single Six convertible with a 5.5" barrel. A great gun that I still have.

      New GLOCK 43X.

It wants to be a Sig P365 so bad.

      Choosing a wishlist 1911

Coonan makes the .357 Magnum 1911. I think Cabot makes the meteorite 1911 you're thinking of.

Ruger LCPII Yea or Nay? Or what?

I had a gen 2 LCP and it was good for what it was. I sold it and bought the LCP 2 after it had been out for a couple of months. Personally I think the LCP 2 is a vast improvement. It has a really nice trigger for the price and the last round slide lock is nice. For me it shoots like a much...
