The selling point seems to be a heightened public awareness of those of us (NOT ME!) who are queer.
I'm pretty sure that we all were quite aware of queerness long ago.
Begs the question, what are they really "selling" to the market?

I did notice something there that, if I actually believed it, I would be supportive.

I don't know. I've seen plenty of cheer boys and most of the modern routines could not be done without a fairly stout one or two.
