      Found a sheath maker

I recently struck up a conversation with a guy who makes/sells leather knife sheaths on eBay (while I was trying and failing to buy one of his sheaths for my old school Gerber BMF). After chatting with him via email for a few days, and finding out he's a really great guy, I asked him if he...

      WTB: Beretta APX RDO

I currently carry a full size Beretta APX in 9mm. Would like to start shooting/carrying a pistol with an optic, so I’m looking for the Beretta APX RDO in 9mm. (So I don’t have to reinvest in parts, magazines, etc). Thanks for reading!

      WTB: Springfield M1A

Looking for a M1A loaded version or NM. Wood stock is preferred. I’m hoping to find one I can add a scope to and make a secondary rifle to shoot with my Ruger Precision Rifle that I own (also in .308). I’m on the Southside of Indianapolis, willing to drive to you to pick it up. Thanks for...

New Bolt Action from Springfield Armory

It seems to me that a lot of gun manufacturers are coming out with their version of a "Precision Rifle", or at the very least an Improved Accuracy rifle. Even Daniel Defense has their Delta 5 rifle, and this from a company that made its name in the high-end AR space. Ruger has a lineup of...

      Sheath for Exporer Survival

This may not be much help, but I found the knife and sheath for sale on an auction site. https://8tenindustries.com/products/explorer-survival-double-edged-400-stainless-21-040-japan-boot-knife If your knife is in better condition than that one, dump the knife and keep the sheath. All for less...

      Chemlights?

Thanks Guys for some ideas that I hadn’t thought of. Giving chemlights to the kids is a really good idea and one that I have done myself when the kiddos were younger. Sounds like using them as marker lights is a way to go as well. Great responses guys. And order those ReadyHeat blankets...

      Chemlights?

I had one for right at 4 years that I finally had to open. Heated up fine in 10 minutes, lastEd for hours. i keep 2 in the Jeep and one in the house (just in case). You can also save a bit of cash and buy the smaller ones, but since I’m 6’3, I get the 60” version.

      Chemlights?

The one use I’ve found is attaching the small ones to each person’s backpack. If you have to hike in the dark, or dark and rain (it’s a blast, you should all try it), it makes keeping up easier for sure!

      Chemlights?

I have been in the mountains at night, and for sure it’s darker than crazy. Just not sure what would make me choose a chemlight over a flashlight? Click.. on. Get what I need, click off.

      Chemlights?

Anyone out there scratch your head about putting chemlights in your kit? Sure, they are neat and all, and if you cut the green ones open you get Predator blood, but they put out so little light I can’t seem to find a good use for them (compared to the weight/space they take up). Anyone have a...
