      Wow! King Cobra 22lr , I have never seen one yet! Hard to beat that Dan Wesson! Of my 3 DA 22lr revolvers , 617-1 4" , 617-5 6" and Taurus 96 the 6" 617 is the most accurate.

      I used to shoot in the indoor Muncie Pistol club league matches in late 1980s to mid 1990s and once used a Smith Model 66 snub nose and came in second to a guy using a Model 52! Back in the day when I could see open sights I would have really enjoyed owning a 52.

      Massad Ayoob says don't release slide on empty chamber.

      I mean its your gun do as you please. With that said I can't really think of any reason that I want to release the slide full force on an empty chamber. I don't do it until I have rounds in the mag . To me the sound of it has always been annoying at best.
