      Right handed and left-eye-dominant

      I'm left eye dominate and right handed. I learned to shoot right handed and didnt switch until my mid 30s. The handgun tilt toward the left eye is easy to learn and get comfortable with. Even switching my scoped rifles to the left shoulder didn't take more than a few weeks to seem natural...

      Shot on 1/29 in the early afternoon. Staff in the store and on the range were kind, helpful, and knowledgable. Range officer had a great sense of humor and helped several folks around me. It would have been nice to have a bench or table to put bags and gun cases on while shooting. I also...

      Anyone use a Foodsaver machine?

      Frequently eat 24 month old pheasant using my foodsaver. Well worth the cost.

      Nevada, 270 wsm. Indiana, Ruger 44 bolt action rifle.

      Carry gun for my wife?

      Sig P238, or sw 66 if she wants a revolver. When my wife first started shooting, the revolver was much easier for her to manipulate/get confortable with.

      At this point, it's almost shoot whatever you can find! I'm shooting umc 180 fmj's...still plenty of bulk 250 round packs available.

      Ideas For A Carry Wheel Gun

      642 is tough to beat. I know you are looking for a longer bbl... 686 with 2 inch bbl is heavy for every day carry. Model 66 is about the perfect compromise.

      Ruger m77

      Sounds like a great buy to me...I have a m77 22-250 that has been in the famly for nearly 30 years and have never had an issue with it.

      .22 Mag shot shells for snakes?

      I'm not sure if the 22 mag will make a difference.... I have shot rattle snakes in the head with 22 shot and all it did was make them mad... 5 shots before getting a shovel to finish the job....
