I bought a savage bolt action with a threaded barrel just for the suppressor.

I have some semi autos with threaded barrels, but some of the sound escapes out the action when it cycles.
They are quiet, but not super quiet.

But the bolt action keeps any sound from escaping out a cycling bolt.

Whenever I've shot at the indoor range with a suppressor, it's attracted attention.
    I have a .22, and a 9/.40/.45 suppressor.

I usually let people shoot them.
    Get big smiles.

There have been a couple of military jets buzzing over my neighborhood a little while ago that are no doubt doing flyovers at the track for carb day.

I heard it and thought that’s a warthog, but it couldn’t be could it? Sure enough it is an A-10

Couldn’t be a better day for a pilot.

I also have a non threaded barrel Savage. I think it's a model 1. Single shot.

But I bought this one just to be a suppressor host.
Maybe after I sell some of my milsurp guns, I'll use some of the money to invest in a modern gun to be a suppressor host. Ideally, I'd like to have one that would work on both a .22 and an AR-15, and then one for a 9mm for a nightstand gun.

I'd have to check, but I don't think my .22 suppressor is .223 capable. I think the pressure would be too much.

Maybe put $10 or $20 in an envelope every so often, and let it accumulate.

I have a suppressor ready Savage bolt .22. Might be like act's. And at least one .22 pistol. I think an M&P and maybe an Sig? I have really been wanting to get a couple suppressors.

My .22 m&p pistol is suppressor ready.
BUT, semi autos allow some of the noise to exit out the action as it cycles.
So.. quiet, but not as quiet as you'd like, if you're shooting a raccoon at night. If you were doing that.

Howdy red. I was just thinking how much fun it would've been if I could still shoot my 12 gauge here. Bet that big ol' gal would've moved a lot faster than she did! :):
