He's taking cues from Crazy Uncle Joe, who keeps screaming that he's going to pass assault weapon bans.

Shut up and sit down, grandpa. SCOTUS already ruled you cant do that.

They both need to stop wasting time and money passing these laws that are just going to struck down.

Why do reporters not ask this pos some questions?

Has anyone asked joe hog**** where he was when the rioters were burning and looting the city and he told law enforcement to stand down?

    Hey hog****.

Funny, last I checked firearms regulations are preempted by state law (IC 35-47-11.1-2). The only way to do what he is claiming he's going to do is to change state law, and the mayor of a municipality has absolutely zero authority to do that.

Edit: BehindblueIs beat me to it.
It doesn't matter as sooooo many of the voters have NO IDEA what the law is.

Libs play the long game. Sadly, a lot of the time it works.

What seems bizarre, illegal, unconstitutional today, may be in real contention ten years from now, after they have made it the narrative for that long.

    Global warming...
    Electric vehicles...
    Illegal drugs legalized...
    Mail in voting...
    Dudes competing in girls sports...
    CRT in our schools...
Prosecutors refusing to do the job, yet still have a job...

    :dunno:

What's the good guy strategy to beat Hogsett?

My wife mentioned this to me over dinner. Her comment "I bet INGO will blow up tonight".

At least we all know it is smoke and mirrors. He cannot enact much of anything he is proposing. He will "try to do something", fail, and blame it on anyone but his own failed leadership.

    Typical empty suit politician.

"In addition, the city is unveiling a new “I Choose Peace” pledge with Indianapolis Public Safety Foundation to provide outlets for neighbors, organizations and businesses to share why they choose to eject violence and promote peace in their neighborhoods."

Ah....new "Peace in the Streets" signs.

    What a ******* clown.

Since it seems that every report on, or article about so called "gun violence" quotes the hoi polloi as demanding "someone must do something".......

    Well, there you go.
