Goes to show glass doors aren't real security. They just shattered outright. Some of that safety film might have been a good idea, at least force an attacker to score it with a knife and kick it out.

The metal illness blaming is technically correct because anyone who does this is mentally ill. But you can’t lump everyone together. At some point everyone will have a condition that could be diagnosed as a mental illness. Your wife, friend, child, family member just died and you’re going in for a checkup at the drs? Bam now you have depression. You get nervous public speaking? You have anxiety, here’s a prescription for Xanax. It’s so easy to get diagnosed, and if we broadly point to mental illness as a reason one should not legally own firearms it’ll be incredibly easy to disarm the public. Think about leo’s, fire, emt, veterans all trained in one way or another to protect and help citizens. Most probably have or will suffer from ptsd, depression, or other mental illnesses from the terrible things witnessed. No need to ban firearms if a dr can take them away with the stroke of a pen.

Yeah, one helluva coincidence. I got a mailing from the GOA this morning. The Congress was ready to vote their disapproval of the ATF pistol brace ban, but that has been cancelled because of this event.
