I called in today to check the status. The guy just confirmed that it was in pending, which I already knew by checking online. But he advised that the average wait for the amnesty form 1’s is about 45 days.

Just received my first approval submitted on 2/13/23. 31 days. Still one to go.
I wonder if I should hold off on ordering an actual stock until after the final ruling?

Why would you wait? You now have an approved SBR for free regardless of what happens with the lawsuits.

I'm jealous you already got yours back! I'm on day 43... Filed two at the same time. I already have 5 Class3 items so I don't know what the hold up is.

I've already ordered my stocks and have them waiting. I'll keep the braces in a box and forget about them.

I filed two within an hour of each other. This is my fourth NFA item, still waiting on the 2nd brace stamp and a suppressor submitted in December. I'm just wondering what the conditional approval will mean. Hopefully they honor the approval either way for those of us who went through the trouble of fingerprints and passport photos, which were not free.

I'll be curious to see what happens to the "approved with conditions" stamps if the ruling is overturned

My money says “Approved with conditions,” means “not eligible for SBR designation if rule is overturned.” I don’t believe for a second this rule will stand, especially now that the ATF has been called to testify before the judiciary committee. This thing will get squashed and everyone that thought they found a loophole will be returning stocks or shelling out the $200 like before.

I too suspect that this fishing expedition will end with a return to the previous rules, but that they'll either give an option to engrave and keep your SBR (they did get the federal registration they wanted) or retract the application and go back to braced.
