Let's say you had an extra $40k laying around and decided to get into the FA game. What gun would you buy and why? Bonus points if you have a good reason to buy a gun that doesn't use up the entire $40k budget.

M3a1 Grease Gun. Simple machine, open bolt, can mount suppressor, and used in multiple wars. It cost a whopping 15 dollars to make. I think the Thompson was 45, as comparison.

Uzi. Of the many we tried at Big tanker's full auto shoot, it was the most controllable.

Another option - MAC 11 with a Lage 9mm upper, a Lage 5.56 upper and an Uzi mag modification.

But maybe I'd rather just have an MP5/CETME full auto trigger pack.

I've got Macs which are great with Lage kits. 9mm and 5.56. M16 . Had mini Uzi . Full size Uzi is slow, almost boring fire rate. MP5s are damn expensive for what they are.

Fnc/ruger556 is damn near M16 money not worth it in my opinion.

If full auto was affordable because the right to keep and bear arms was no longer infringed upon, I would have a hard time debating between a true AK and an MP-5 even though H&K is far from my favorite company.
