Hello all, I have a vintage 410 double barrel with a bulge at the end of the barrel. It is about 3/4 back from the end of the barrel. I'm just wondering if it would be okay to cut the barrel back a inch from the bulge and all will be fixed?? I'm guessing it was there when I bought it. Probably from someone putting a slug through it or a high brass. I have just ran 2 1/2 standard target loads through it due to its age so I'm assuming it wasn't me... I figure opening the choke up on the gun would be good for it overall anyways, right?
