This story is gaining traction. Traffic stop occurred on January 7, suspect died January 10, five officers already fired January 20. DOJ is investigating, Ben Crump has arrived, and people are demanding that the video be released. National news outlets have picked up the story.

Memphis is a ****hole city run by democrats and has been for years. That clearly doesn't mean anyone should be treated unfairly. I'm not sure who the target of the anger will be--it's people they voted for and the type of people they've been elected for years running that ****hole.

That isn't why people riot. Riot = looting. Looting = getting what they want for free all while calling it justified outrage.
Those store owners should feel good about their charitable contribution to the impoverished community. Looting is redistribution don't ya know. We've been told that it's no biggie. The insurance companies will reimburse the store owners anyway.

I remember Reading about the people who lost their stores after many riots. They lost everything trying to serve their community and the thanks they get is to be burned out or looted with no compensation.
One that stuck out to me was the retired fireman from Minneapolis who took all his saving to build a bar & grill that was looted and burnt to the ground. His insurance would not cover it because of the riot or war clause.
If anyone needed compensation he, and people like him did.

People responded to his loss and donated over 1 million. That's America.

I like Memphis. In parts. In the daytime.

Memphis is also a great place to get stabbed if you don't pay attention to when/where/who. There is a strong culture of violence there. I would not be shocked at riots, I would not be shocked at a shrug and "that's the way things are" response.

Crump will do his best to keep that from happening.

My company does work in Memphis from time to time. I'm not saying they have a crime problem, but while my guy was sitting in his truck doing paperwork on the CCTV system he just serviced, a dude actually had the balls to ask him outright "So how much could I get for one of them security cameras at a pawn shop?"

He learned quickly to get in, do his work, and get out. Worry about the paperwork a few miles up the road.

And he was smart enough to say "nothing. They only work on the system here. Take it anywhere else and it wont work. "

Yeah, Blue aka Uncle Toms. Black officers are just as bad as white ones according to those evil groups. Yes, I used the correct word.
