I think more people that did'nt vote for Walker is because they just didn't like him for whatever reason and not primarily because of Trump's endorsement.

It's not like they said we would've voted for Walker if it were not for the fact that Trump endorsed him so now, we're not gonna vote for him.

IMO the reason Walker lost was more about Walker than it was about Trump.

I don't think people voted against Walker because of Trump. I think it probably had more to do with that he's a bit of a nutter. Has a lot of kids from different women. History of violence against his ex wife. Lots of negatives. So no. The only criticism of Trump's accountability in that was that Trump made him. According to Walker's son, Trump's team put a lot of pressure on Walker to run, and that if it weren't for Trump his dad would not have run. So I think it's fair to say that Trump was foolish to pick Walker. It's not clear if a good candidate could have won, however. But it was a certainty that Walker would lose.

Can't say that I disagree with that. My point was merely addressing those who suggested that Walker lost because voters in GA hate Trump and Trump endorsed Walker.

I kinda DONT think any voters exist who would have voted for Walker, but then heard Trump endorsed him, and then they changed their mind because of that. That may have been the case in other races.

Perhaps some independents who might have voted for a Republican because of the economy, the Democrats' policies on lockdowns, the nutty inability for Democrats to say what a woman is, the wokeness entering schools, the explosion of trans nonsense being pushed in the most odd circumstances, but they don't want to vote for a Trump endorsee because they have some lingering TDS. Democrats' strategy in some races was to put Trump on the ballot.

And that would outline the importance of a political leader to have the wisdom to know when to back off.

Whatever the case may be. It was a close race. Some might say it was close because Trump endorsed Walker and they came up short, others might say Walker may have won but for Trump's endorsement.

I still say the constant is Walker lost primarily because of Walker.

I get it. I find it amusing none-the-less...blue shirt:).

If you would like to get into a lengthy diatribe/exchange of the modern aspects of voter participation in dense urban areas I would entertain that as well...but jamil has already tried starting that.

    :lmfao:

If nothing else, it underscores how clusters of people under the king's rule continue to choose to live on the estate of their lord as long as they feel they are being offered protection and services (even when conditions might suggest otherwise).

Does INGO have a color for glib?

I read through thst post again and noticed I missed a kay word in the first sentence. I left out the word “don’t”. I meant to say I don’t think in walkers case that there were any voters who would have voted for walker but for Trumps endorsement. If they didn’t vote for him it was more because of those other negatives I listed. And really, many of those that did vote for him were likely holding their noses because it’s a vote for who controls the Senate.

    .
I'm curious how mercenary the "activists" are. Left money has been financing a lot of grief, maybe it's time for the republican party to hire it's own door to door mercenary ballot harvesters.

When Republicans were running on a platform. Democrats were running candidates.

Republicans started running or trying to run candidates. Then Democrats switched to harvesting ballots.

Republicans campaign and debate, by that time, half or more of Democratic votes have already been cast. Democrats are creating voters through same day registration and voting, harvesting ballots, procuring votes through mail in voting.

Kaite Hobbs refused to debate Kari Lake. The Fetterman Campaign only decided to debate Oz once they knew the analytics of ballots mailed vs ballots received vs needed voting day turnout from either side was in their favor.

    Democrats focus on winning.

50,000 people, that are going to vote on election day, at a rally is great. But it's not as great as sending out hundreds of thousands of ballots with instructions showing people how to vote (for the Democratic candidate) and saying all they have to do is make their mark and put it back in the mail.

I hated McCain at the time can’t speak for anyone else. And no not saying that about Trump, those are your words. What I said is GA didn’t vote for Trump. Don’t spin it.
You stated that "GA hates Trump. Even the Republicans. At least enough of them." The only person on the statewide ballot that lost was a Trump endorsed one. So obviously he lost because Trump endorsed him and GA hates Trump. So therefor Trump ****ed us out of a Senate seat. That doesn't even factor in that according to his son Walker wasn't planning on running and that Trump repeatedly called him and talked him into it.

And I don't think that IN hated McCain, just Obama got more votes for whatever reason. Why did you hate him at the time?

I think more people that did'nt vote for Walker is because they just didn't like him for whatever reason and not primarily because of Trump's endorsement.

I agree, at least for the general. IMO he wouldn't have won the primary without the Trump endorsement. He won it with less than 1k votes. I'm pretty sure a Trump endorsement could swing that many, if not what does that say about Trump? Not to mention Trump reportedly talking him into running in the first place.

    Umm.
Walker lost because his election was targeted by the uniparty to lose because that race was a high profile race that was trump endorsed.
Look at the narrative. Trump picks lost. OZ, Kari lake, Walker.

Can anyone cite an example of when a Democrat appeared to win, and then in the process of the recount the Republican actually won? It seems like if this is all attributable to human error, things that are random, etc., such cases should be relatively equally represented.

This very point has been brought up a few times here. At the end of the day nothing will change until the will of the people wants it changed. All it really would have taken was all honest people to demand clean fair elections and it would have been fixed. The corruption of our political types is not remarkable, it is a mirror of the corruption in our society.

The majority here are the handshake is our bond kind of guys, that Is not society at large, hence why so many carry. The election is just another indication of our corrupt society.

Back to your point, it is statistically impossible for many of the things we witnessed to have occurred naturally…

Recounts rarely change the outcome either way.
