I'm surprised this came to a run-off. With as many feet as Walker has inserted into his mouth, and with how utterly unintelligent he's sounded over the last several months - it's a rather telling indictment of the people who want him in office.

Like - seriously? The Republican party can't come up with anyone? Literally ANYONE better than this?

The R party may as well be dead.

    Embarrassing. Completely embarrassing.

No less than Tip O"Neil once said that all politics is local and since I know little about Georgia it's hard for me to figure out the pluses and minuses for both candidates. Relative to whether Trump's endorsement is good or bad for some might be answered in 2024 if we see the great evil eye of the left focus on whoever runs with the same intensity that it focused on Trump.

Personally I think it's more the message than the man, if 2024 candidates run on anti dc populist platforms I think they will get the same reaction out of the big lefty machine. I see Elon Musk as an example of how that machine responds to those that would challenge it's power, and he's not even running for anything.

Lol I’d have walker a candidate……. Go up against bidet in a debate any day of the weak. Even our most UNINTELLIGENT candidate from the bottom of the political barrel runs circles around the commander in chief that democrats put into office with record numbers apparently. Fettermen? AOC? If the Republican Party is dead because of walker then the Democratic Party is already decomposing.

I am totally convinced that many people on this forum do not want change for the better. They would rather live with corruption & immorality as long as they can remain comfortable.

While they are comfortable in their setting, they will continue to blame Trump for our downfalls. They are a part of the media spin whether they believe it or not. Yet when asked, they cannot tell me what he has done as president that prohibits him from running again.
They haven't because Trump hasn't done anything that would prohibit him from running again.

Someone posted here a link that a group was fundraising off the runoff, claiming to support Walker, but the group kept 90%…
I remember seeing that. I believe it was a group headed by Republican Sen. Rick Scott.

Vote fraud has always been with us, really it boils down to three things.

The rewards are great if you are successful.

The chances of getting caught are small.

The punishments if convicted are light.

Much like any criminal enterprise the perpetrators make a rational risk/reward decision.

You can't do much about the first one. Doing something about the second one requires an aggressive investigation, often by people who have much to gain from the first reason. You can pass draconian laws that set penalties for election interference at something like 50 years hard labor, no parole.

Warnock was no prize and had his own baggage, he just had the advantage of being the D so nobody would criticize him. If he was running as an R you would have seen a lot different narrative.

    I'm not saying it's voter fraud. . .

    We all know they’re cheating.

But do the rank and file liberals know too?

Or do they just believe MSM and social media?

How anybody thought Walker was a good idea is beyond me. The interviews with him made him seem like Fetterman, and he didn't even have a stroke to blame it on. I didn't really look into Walker much since he wasn't someone for me to vote for, but I did look him up last night and wow. Just reading his wikipedia page, all I can say is wow. If even a quarter of that stuff is true, then whoever let him run is an idiot.

The best man wins? Run someone better?

The demoncrats just elected a guy missing half his brain in PA.
Tell me about "need good candidates" when you are up against that.

The ground game vote farming is the future, repubs need to learn how to game the system like the dems to keep up.

I keep hearing people say the republican party is dead. Why? That tone or statement is actually part of the mindset that got us into trouble and continues to do so. Think about it. The "R" party is dead is not different from saying "they're dead"; at least to me. Those words create a division, creates an "us" and "them"; which brings me to the question of who makes up the party? "We" are the party; whatever party we align ourselves with or support.

If we say the "R" party is dead, then we are saying "we are dead". If we do not include ourselves in that statement, then we are separating ourselves from the politicians, it becomes an "us" versus "them".

It comes down to this. Either we accept the fact that we are the party or accept the thought that politicians a separate class of their own, in the sense that we cannot do anything to make a change; which seems to be the attitudes of many.

    The candidate doesn't matter anymore.

If it did, Biden wouldn't be in office, and fetterman wouldn't have even been taken seriously in the media.

But those who were a little slow in school are having difficulty connecting the dots.
