GA deserves what they get then, not sure how these 'red states' are electing these democrats now, maybe Republicans are just too lazy to go vote.
The participation numbers seem to indicate Republicans voted in decent numbers. But one thing northerners don't always grasp is how chock-full of black people some southern states are. Barack Obama is a star-endorser there. Kanye is just not in his league. Have you ever been to Atlanta and taken a look around? It has always been a gold mine waiting to be tapped by Democrats.

With Trump agitating the place - the Democrats tapped it. And will continue to do so.

Republicans can grow their numbers among black people quite a bit, but still keep getting swamped by the magnitude of the raw numbers. "But, but, but...," Trump supporters say, "He got more of the black vote than Romney!" Problem is that theoretically, even if Trump grew black GOP support, if a whole bunch more black people showed up because 75% of them hate Trump's guts and the plane he rode in on, the net effect ends up being worse off mathematically. Your "inroads" to the minority vote can get swamped by an increase in people going the other way. As much as I detest Romney, as far as the black vote is concerned, the GOP could actually be better off with Romney getting less of the black vote, if a bunch of the rest of the 80% of black people who hate Trump stay home because Romney doesn't rile them up as much.

Great! Just nominate RINO’s to appease the left and keep voters like @DadSmith voting for third parties. That is a smart strategy to turn things around.

You are failing to acknowledge that as conservatives have risen up the left have countered with ballot harvesting, mail schemes, drop off boxes, etc. There is your difference.

Trump endorsements tracked at near 90% elected.

You're getting emotional and attributing things to me I never said. I clearly stated I detest Romney. But if someone like DeSantis ran, and turned out to not enrage left-moderate turnout quite so much? Yeah, it could be worth looking at.

I've acknowledged Democrat dirty tricks in all kinds of threads here. In fact, it's one of the biggest arguments against Trump. He is like putting 107 Octane racing fuel in their dirty trick machine. The jokes, exaggerations, and misstatements write themselves anytime Trump is on the mic. Witness his musings about whether it's time to suspend the Constitution? (Uh, no, dumb@ss).

As stated elsewhere, endorsements aren't what sank us this election. It's where Trump hand-picked candidates whose relevant resume entries are cooking with Oprah and getting chicks pregnant, and who otherwise wouldn't have gotten near the ballot.

You have no grasp of the situation.

The "moderate-left" turns on the TV, an anchor says "(R) man bad, vote for (D) or you're killing our democracy." and they turn out in droves for the (D).

You're under the false impression nuance exists, and that people care about the issues, or hell, even vote for a policy they want. They don't.

You don't need to look any further than Trump to see the complete and total disconnect between policy and repeating what a TV anchor says. These people can not even point to a single policy decision that they disagreed with, the majority of the time. They're completely unsure why they hate Trump, outside of repeating what the TV told them to say. And conservatives, naively, don't seem to grasp this, instead they blame themselves and think it's their fault.

If you want turnout, throw the concept of "optics" in the toilet and run as far right as possible, no capitulation.

I read 20+ years ago living in Md about a huge black exodus when retired heading back south to Georgia. The reporter called it Atlanta, black and getting blacker.

If he didn't vote for Biden, then he ain't black...
Of course! I almost forgot about the Uniter-in-Chief saying that from his basement 2 years ago. That explains why nobody in the media has celebrated the fact that in 2024 racist bigoted America, we just watched a senate race between two black men. To possibly identify some differences between the two, I'd have to rehash another Joe-ism about a articulate, bright, clean, nice-looking African-American.

I am totally convinced that many people on this forum do not want change for the better. They would rather live with corruption & immorality as long as they can remain comfortable.

While they are comfortable in their setting, they will continue to blame Trump for our downfalls. They are a part of the media spin whether they believe it or not. Yet when asked, they cannot tell me what he has done as president that prohibits him from running again.
