I agree. As long as we're not doing the same unethical garbage that they pull. I never said we shouldn't fight back, we just need to be cleaner about it than our opposition.

It's a matter of degrees. Maybe I'm open to going a bit more gray than you. Albeit not stay there.

Again, can't fight a homeless, naked, Crack head using Marquees of Queensbury rules.

Not that I want to fight a homeless, naked, Crack head.

Not to mention that government seeking to co-opt the media to serve government's purposes is real assed fascism, not the bull**** kind the left always goes on about

Exactly right. But the question has been raised, "What law has been broke?". I'm sure several, but it has to be adjudicated and prosecuted, and the DOJ keeps acting like it doesn't exist, and in fact are jumping on the bandwagon with the culprits. I doubt the next two years of 'hearings' is gonna get the job done. One can hope, but I wish I weren't so pessimistic.

And in case I didn't mention, **** Christopher Wray and the donkey he road in on. He makes my stomach turn when I watch him testifying before Congress.

Emails from “Biden team” wanting suppression, yeah that’s a 1st Amendment violation.
Same people that called the laptop fake russian disinformation are calling you an election denier.
As has been mentioned, let that sink in.

No one is talking about purity. But we shouldn’t have to break reasonable laws to expose the cheating.
But when you were talking out of the other side you were all 'no cheating has been exposed because no proof has been given', when no proof was given because the courts refused to hear the evidence

I don't think Mr Normalcy Bias can just suddenly start arguing the other side of this issue as if you were an 'election denier' all along

So tamper with elections? Hiw bad do you want to make the rules.

    Yeah. I didn’t think so.
It’s already been done. Nothing is off the table at this point. Hillary has a hit list and nothing is done. Congressmen are shot at a baseball game and most don’t blink an eye. ballots are created and added in under the table and we say “hey that ain’t fair. Corruption is suppressed and we say dang that ain’t right. History tells us that our Forefathers were willing to die for this country. We would rather argue about not being “too extreme “. Let me know how being morally superior works out for you while you are being marched to the AOC gulag…

So I guess you’re trying to get on an election board?

We don't have to do what they are doing, just make what they are doing incredibly dangerous for the perps
I'm not apposed to making their tactics illegal. That requires having government power. Or if what you mean is exposing them for what they're doing, I'm all for that. If you're talking about breaking reasonable laws, yeah, not doing that. If that's what it takes to save the country it's already lost.

But when you were talking out of the other side you were all 'no cheating has been exposed because no proof has been given, when no proof was given because the courts refused to hear the evidence

Bull-****. I've never claimed to be a Kraken believing election truther. Nor will I. That's retarded.

Expose what you can expose to the public is what I'm advocating. But stick to the cases you can reasonably make. Stop trying to expose wild ass tinfoil hat stories you get in your trunews feeds.

Musk has exposed what is reasonably called election interference by twitter. It's a good start. People need to push back on the narrative with some evidence. The battle isn't in the courts as much as it is for getting more people on your side. You go acting like a fool in public and people will just take you for one.

I saw on the news this morning (so obviously I don't know if there is any truth in it) that former President Trump says the Constitution should be suspended because of his stolen election... True?

You have to be part of the government to violate the First Amendment, not trying to be part of the government. Same problem applies if it is the DNC doing the request.

@KLB maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're saying. But it still looks quite dismissive to me. If I were to distill what it seems you've been saying, is "meh, it's not illegal, so **** up a rope" Or in your words, stop saying it was election interference because it doesn't meet the strict legal term. Because that's the standard everyone must have to use those words.
That's not what I am saying.

The fact that this crap happens sucks. Pointing out that it sucks and trying to change it is great. Saying it's illegal, which there is a lot of, is not. It's no better really than the left's constant barrage of Trump's supposed illegal acts.

No. Trump was inarticulate. As usual. And media exploited that to claim that he wants to do away with the Constitution. And of course CNN or whatever had some Lincoln Project Republicans on to **** on him about it. It was another unforced error.

But, what has Trump done to punch back? He should be out there saying, "you lying ********ers. I said that your election rigging has raped the constitution. YOU are the ones bypassing the constitution." And then list the anti-constitutional actions Joe Biden has done since he's been in office, especially the ones where Biden actually said "this is unconstitutional but I have to do it anyway."

Okay. I don't think I'm too far from that idea. If it's not illegal I would not want to claim it is. But, calling it election interference is a correct term to use, even if it does not rise to the legal definition. That's my main objection. I'm not sure that everyone else means it in the legal sense either, though people may conflate it.

Anyway. Is some of what they did illegal? For example, what's the value of having Twitter help them win a campaign? Squash stories damaging to democrats? What's the value in promoting tweets that are helpful to democrats and de-ranking tweets that are harmful? Does that run afoul to campaign finance laws? Wasn't there an in-kind contribution made by Twitter?
