You are not conveniently leaving things out in describing the history.

It is totally BS to claim Trump had a supportive congress and had ANY control of it.

It is so odd that I constantly have to correct posters that post like they believe the office of President is a dictator some believe that he controls even the staplers and storage closets.

Anyone that makes fun of the idea of a learning curve does not know how things work. Maybe read about what administrations go through getting going.

Trump did not campaign on the deep state issue as it was his campaign that brought to light how corrupt the alphabet agencies are.

So many conservatives have wanted an outsider but then when the establishment DC and both parties go after that outsider they try to blame the guy trying to do what we all want.
All you really said was he can't do anything meaningful.

Congress worked with him, when he worked with Congress.
He has a plan, now knows who many are he cannot trust, and can use the EO process to take control back to the executive branch, something he started.
So at best any changes he makes last four years. That is even a stretch though. Most likely it goes to court and is found to be unconstitutional.

Can someone please help me with listing my Walther PDP for sale? I just signed up and it’s saying I can’t post in classifieds. Sorry it’s unrelated.
    Sure can.
Read through the thread below and you'll get the skinny on posting there.

I noticed his location was listed as "Chicago". Another thread may be necessary in that situation.

See, this is a reason the arguments you guys are making aren't winning. Debt is a HUGE part of what I care about. I think saving the country is important. Destroying the country in hopes of saving it doesn't save it.
I'm sorry my friend, $31+ trillion is just not something we can recover from (about $94,000 per citizen, not tax payer).
The SS USA, has a gaping hole ripped down the hull by our debt iceberg.
At this point it's about helping as many as will listen and saving yourself.

It will be interesting to see how many and who will join Trump's team given the fact that Democrats and their toady DAs in the justice dept have gone after anyone that was even remotely associated with Trump in the past. Et al Paul Manafort, Steve Bannon, Roger Stone and many other lower profile individuals who were associated with Trump that don't come to mind right now. Basically, anyone that was on Trump's team.

If they couldn't get a lot of them outright, they sought to bankrupt them financially in legal fees just trying to defend themselves and also to discourage anyone else in the process from joining Trump lest they suffer the same fate of financial ruin and public scrutiny.

I'm thinking a number of people just might be reluctant to join the team and go through that meat grinder this time after what they witnessed previously. Ivanka has already said "no mas"
This is a good point. Don’t forget General Flynn. If that does not happen with the same intensity to a President Desantis what does that mean?

Okay. Imma have to defend the Trumpers on this one. I don't support guilt-by-association cancel culture. Just because you have dinner with someone controversial does not mean you agree with them or are establishing some persistent relationship. I don't think Trump is a white nationalist. Or an anti-semite. I think Kenye has kinda lost his beans. Bring some evidence that the discussion was mutually agreed racism and you have something.

I think it was a mistake to spin it as, "I don't know who this guy is," because it's not fooling anyone but the devout.

This was a stupid decision, period. Why would you sit down with these guys right after announcing you are running for President? Kanye is not any better than Fuentes.

Yep. The Democrats have been trying to eliminate Gen Flynn since Obama was in office. They ruined him financially and sullied his reputation accusing him of being part of the Russia "collusion" hoax and railroading him for supposedly "lying" to the FBI of which I believe FBI field agents didn't even think he did.

He's a perfect example of the Democrats going after anyone that was associated with Trump.

Who else can do it? Who has been forged in the fire of the entire MSM and deep state? Only one.
Has he been forged in the fire? I mean. I understand he's been in the fire. Did he overcome it? You guys feel like Trump is best fit to do this because the press, the left, even members of his own party, threw everything they had at him, got him canceled from social media, impeached him twice, etcetera. I think instead, that's evidence that the odds of him getting any swamp drained are pretty low. Because of his ego, and his temperament, I don't have a lot of confidence that he would be capable of forming the political alliances among important people necessary to get anything done but executive orders. Which I'm not a big fan of because when the Democrats take over next they'll undo everything, just like they did when they got in office.

The answer to this isn't just to keep spending more. Or worse, compete with progressives for spending more. It's not even just about the debt by itself. We need to control spending. We obviously can't keep printing our way along. It's one of the causes of the inflation we're seeing now. I'm not down with candidates who refuse to do anything about spending. That said, compared to the culture war and political divide, spending and debt are below that. If we lose our country the debt won't matter. But uncontrolled spending and debt will help lose it.

That is the point. And Desantis has to prove he can handle it, the election is against the entire MSM.
The MSM won't attack Desantis in the primary. They will save that for if he were to somehow get the nomination. As a matter of fact, they will most likely even speak glowingly about Desantis in the primaries.

They have a track record of doing just that to prop up the GOP candidate of their choice until it's time to trash them.
