    Happy Thanksgiving to ALL!

Mine will be very sparse this year, at least compared to previous years. This year will only be my dad and me.

A simple salad, French style oven roasted chicken, green bean casserole, and apple butter spice cake.

I might make apple dumplings, but I'm already kindof tired and feeling lazy. I have a LOT of apples to get rid of so intend(ed) to make the dumplings. I might save doing them for later tonight or tomorrow evening.

I extremely dislike green bean casserole, but my mother used to make it and my dad loves it, so for this time I'll make it for him. I even found my mother's torn out copy of Campbell's Soup recipe that she used.

For those who might be interested in an extremely easy, very tasty, roasted chicken, here ya'll go:

Enjoy your time with friends, family and loved ones!

    Regards and Happy Thanksgiving,

    Doug

PS - Thanks again BBI! Still using your "my nuts are awesome" recipe.:ingo:
