Does everyone drive like CTC?

A couple weeks ago a semi ran a red and nearly killed me.
Today I waited until the arrow turned green, looked to the left traffic was stopped, looked to my right two cars in the right lane stopped.
I start to pull out, a car flies through the light in the left lane.
If I hadn't slammed on the brakes he would have taken the front end of my not so new van.

I was looking at getting something delivered from Ace Hardware. I chose the closest store in Winfield. The site tells me, they don't deliver to me, but the one in Hobart does. Winfield store is 5.5 miles pretty down 109th/100 S. Hobart is 11.2 miles. Heck, Hebron is only 7.9 miles away. WTF
