    10. Notes: I have been calling weekly to check the status since the 1 year mark so this was week 5. This is my first form 4 and I pretty well convinced myself that I probably messed something up and would have to try again or something.
The price of the item doubled since I purchased it. Was told it would take about 8 months (when I called after 6 months), however it took 13 which seems about average right now.
I could tell the lady had a different sound to her voice when she went to tell me approved lol, I was so excited to hear "approved" that I all but hung up on the agent so I could tell my wife.
Now just waiting to hear from my LGS that I can pick it up..
First and last paper form! Can't wait to e-file one of these days though.
I am patient, but have to admit it started to get agonizing the last couple months. My Bday is the middle of june, so I bought this when I was 33 and got it at 35 lol.. happy Bday to me this year, from me last year..
Did you get your paperwork yet? How long between approval and paperwork receipt?

Contacted rep 6/14/22, signed releases, received reply back from Rep on 7/21/22 that my FBI background check was listed as “PROCEED” and assured that it was on the later half. 9/9/22 approval email received at 8am. Picked up same day. 8 weeks after contacting my Rep I got an approval, seems like contacting rep made no difference.

Not sure what is going on with E-File Form 1s.

Had one take over 100 days which finally came in about a month ago.
Then...I had two approved in less than 40 days. Went pending in Mid-August and both stamps just got approved this weekend.

    Makes no sense.

Watching the R/NFA monthly approval it seems like they prioritized the paper forms that were getting over a year long wait for a couple weeks and are just now getting back to efile forms.

Current wait times seem more like 200+ days for an efile form 4 and 100 days for a efile form 1

Imo I think the atf is concerned that a year long plus wait may draw scrutiny they don’t want.

I follow r/NFA also and there’s 0 logic. I think it’s also they are trying to eliminate the paper forms entirely. It’s much easier to search a database registry on a computer than it is paper forms.

    Were these suppressors?

If so, are you machining yourself or modifying kits?

I haven't checked on solvent traps lately, just know that everything seemed to turn into a honeypot. Don't really want to buy a lathe to do form 1's.

    PM if you prefer, thanks

SBRing my PS90 earlier in the year took just over 60 days so I wouldn't be too surprised if things have gone up from there.

The NFA paper forms backlog is ridiculous enough but at leasy they can use the flimsy excuse that they have to keep track of the physical papers. It's kinda outrageous that eForms with no such constraints are still stuck in February.
