    I see little practical value in them. I assume that the plugs are foam and are disposable. Just keep a supply in the range bag.
    I think that someone would be more concerned about dropping, and losing, a real earring when changing to these. If a woman often wears dangling earrings, she might not realize that she still has these on when she leaves the range. It could be embarrassing to display your earwax.

    I hope everyone realizes that's zero hearing protection from foamies inserted like that. You have to roll-squish them, insert them deeper into your ear canal, and then let them puff back up while held in place to properly seal off the ear canal. Having them as earrings will make that impossible. I assume it's a joke, but I've seen many people who don't really seat foamies correctly.
