With the USMC being substantially smaller and utilizing the M18 like the USAF and US Navy complete integration will happen probably faster than Big Army.

I know my old Air Guard Unit has had the M18 for over a year now. And Wright Pat AFB had there’s about a year and a half ago maybe sooner.
MPs at Ft. Campbell, KY are carrying the Sigs.

The Corps takes forever to do any upgrades.
Look again at how old most of their equipment is. My youngest pcs'ed out 4-5 months ago, his lav was built in 84. He was a 0352, still issued a M9 his M4 is decades old and rebuilt untold times. His older brother a 0372, his issue is a M17.
One of the reasons the tanks are gone is they were 3-5 upgrades behind.

The Corps never has had the budget the other Branches have.

    Edit.
Just got off the phone with my son in Kuwait. He said when he left 29 Palms a few months back the only Marines that he saw were Marine Police/Gate Guards and Security Forces carrying Sigs.
He works out of an Army base in western Kuwait and Army police/guards and a few AF Airmen on base are carrying Sigs.
He said the Armory contractors carry them by the armloads in and out of The Armory.
He has no idea where they are from or going.

I figured most of the ones issued the sign would be in the rear and at the pentagon...
Same with the FN built M4's.

My sons have seen very few FN M4's for sure, like unicorns.
Both of my older boys got out and they had not seen any of them. My oldest got out 4 years ago, I believe it will be two this Dec that my other boy got out.
Both were disgusting with the woke military. They had some interesting stories to tell about the sensitivity training lol.

Its one of the big reasons my younger son didn't reup, and the money.
I believe he told me at least twice a month formations over sensitivity. Not much sensitivity on fri-sat nights in enlisted bachelor barracks.
Members here keep saying todays youth are not what we were. I keep saying lots of them are.

IIRC the military only makes up 0.3% of our total population that has served since we became a country. It may not seem like it but service members are rare breed.
Now if you go by only those who volunteered for service it is probably even lower.

I never saw any FN made M4s. At Benning in 2016, I was issued a Colt M16a4. Sam Houston was a M16a2 during FTXs if I remember correctly. At my first unit we had remarked M4->M4a1s, XXX'd BURST and engraved it AUTO. They were also reclaimed rifles, they were engraved with ANA (Afghan National Army) and numbers. When I was TDY at Ft Knox for CST, I uncrated brand new Colt M4a1s to hand out to cadets. Lots of Colt, only FNs I ever saw were the 249s and 240s.

    Yep, im aware.
I have been laughed at for buying a few M17's for my sons and myself because of that lever.
    I carry a M17.
    View attachment 240728
Does that mean that all that carry a M17-18 will utilize that safety?
No, but the lack of a manual safety was a point brought forth in the law suit. I also am not aware of the carry condition that the military uses these days. I'm not sure that they carry with an empty chamber or a chambered round. It is also unclear to me whether or not the lawsuit involves Sig P320's that were not sent back for a trigger upgrade. I would think that if a user did not sent his/ her pistol back for the free trigger upgrade that lack of action by the user would be on him/ her, not the company. Having said that, I'm no lawyer.

I dont believe when guarding anything as Marines either of my sons had an empty chamber. And that would have been equipment getting ready to bug out the next day for maneuvers or training, guarding the big ranges during training and so on. What pictures I have you can see with using magpuls at least the mags are loaded and rifles are on safe.
I will say when shooting with either of them if you pickup a firearm they shot before you, action open or closed the manual safety with be on.
Ive never been a striker fired guy, mostly because of so many owners shooting themselves. My older son had to qualify with the Sig a few years ago and talked me into buying a M17. I like the safety, I flip it on and push it into its holster without fear of having a "Pop"
After shooting it a few weeks I bought both sons new ones, and I shifted to one for daily carry.
When carrying a 226 decocker I just put my thumb on the hammer when holstering.
If the hammer started moving thats telling you to stop pushing or your gonna have a "Pop"

I still find it interesting why so much of the rest of Sig 320 owners arn't having all these issues. Im betting its money easily made.

i think they're just a bunch of idjits.

the only problem i've had from my p320 is it keeps drinking my jack. i'm hoping that when i get my second one i causes the 1st one to leave my jack alone.

I own and regularly shoot two Sig P320's. One is a compact and the other a P320X compact. The first one was sent in for the trigger upgrade. The X model already had it. I've fired both of them extensively. To a lesser extent, I've shot them in timed qualifications from the holster. They have only gone bang when I pulled the trigger. Maybe I'm just lucky or maybe the folks who have shot themselves have put extra forces on their pistols that I have not. I guess we'll see, if this class action suit ever makes it to court. I don't feel like my Sigs are unsafe, without a manual safety or thingy on the trigger, like Glock, S&W, FN, Taurus, etc. I actually was never a fan of the little thingy.

    Lawsuit against Sig P320 dismissed.

Plaintiff/DHS special agent was participating in agency quarterly qualification “speed drill” when his P320 discharged while he was “…pushing down on the pistol to remove it from a new tight holster…” and the bullet hit his leg. He had just completed two successful iterations of the drill in which at signal from a whistle two agents would draw and fire. First to hit his target remained on line, the loser replaced by another agent.

Plaintiff offered two individuals as expert witnesses. Magistrate rejected the individuals as expert witnesses and recommended suit be dismissed. Federal judge agreed and granted Sig’s motion for summary judgment.

Interestingly, this was in the southern district of New York, and did you know there’s a shooting range in the Bronx?

Yeah, they pay you to shoot and give you ammo, gun and holster free + free training and what do you do? You shoot yourself in the foot (or leg as the case may be)!

Whomsoever could have seen this coming?
All these cases have been bunk so far.
Whether it's using 226 holsters, using a lightbearing holster w/o a light, or using ****** old leather from 1980.
P320s had drop safe issues, that will be the scapegoat for the rest of time. Police have incentive to lie to protect their career and legal wallet.
This happened woth glocks back in the day too.

I've only seen one instance I consider legitimate.
A competitive shooter had parts breakage that resulted in a firing in the holster.

Interestingly, the linked document notes that the DHS destroyed the holster prior to the lawsuit.

I guess it had a bullet hole in it?
