Yep. We'll aware of the hose issues. When I cracked the hose open, that will usually allow the caliper to snap back some. But that didn't help at all.

I didn't want to chance trying to replace the hose and end up replacing 40' of brake line, 4 hoses and 3 other calipers because fittings broke and the bleeders are stuck. I've done that before and it sucks.

I took it for a drive and the wheel is the same temp as the other one. I'll continue to monitor it for a while.

I found something I never knew existed. A washer fluid reservoir dipstick. My dad wagon doesn't have a low fluid light and I ran out the other day. I went to fill it up this morning and saw this in the fill.

Recently took a road trip to Montgomery, AL on I-65 in my 5 cyl Volkswagen. Average speeds were 85-95 mph, and I got 34 mpg.

In Kentucky and Tennessee I pushed the clutch in when coming downhill, and I got 37 mpg.

My daily driver weather permitting is my 89 Road sofa (aka Goldwing). She's pushing 154k miles and runs like scalded cat and I still get 40 mpg, get around 45 when I baby it which isn't often.

My alternate daily driver is a 2017 Cheby Malibu with a very doggy 1.5L turbocharged 4 banger. Fortunately is does get decent mileage.

My preferred alternate daily driver is my 2015 Ram 1500 4x4 and it sucks gas because I like to hear that 5.7L Hemi open up

Well Mom, if it makes you feel any better, that's double the mileage my semi gets at work.
I passed a tanker yesterday that had a bajillion wheels... thought maybe it was you. I think it had just turned onto 30 off of 23 going eastbound.

My current daily driver is a 2008 Rav4 with 227,400 miles on it. I get 25 MPG on the highway. On Saturday I'm getting a 2013 VW Jetta Sportwagon TDI. It should be good for low to mid 40's MPG.

My daughter has a 2014 Jetta TDI. It gets around 38-39 on the highway. Should be better, but after the while VW Dieselgate debacle, economy tanked on those engines. They are capable of mid-50's without all the regulation.

Still beats 25 MPG. I have a co worker with a 2011 Sportwagon and he is seeing around 43 MPG on the highway.
