Trump either set the stage for or acquiesced to out of control covid spending and lock downs that kick started or contributed to the inflation, supply chain issues, and the recession the democrats have burdened us with. He missed the boat on firing Fauci, Birx, Jerome Adams, et al that gave us poisonous vaccines, mask mandates, jab or job ultimatums, and all that torture. And what’s worse, at least the last I knew, he hadn’t repented of any of that yet. It’d be one thing to get caught up in “the fog of war” and do what your experts are telling you you need to do. It’s quite another, over 2 years later to not now be repudiating all of that.
Secure borders, low energy prices, low inflation, America First, peace agreements in the Middle East, targeted killing of terrorist generals, respect or fear in the world as necessary, against endless foreign war and spending the blood of our finest pointlessly, booming stock markets and economy

    Trump +10

Bad decisions about CoVid and bumpstocks

    Trump -2

When I do the math, I get Trump +8 from a man who stood in the trenches and fought the good fight against those intent on corrupting and corroding our country without the luxury of safely Republican majority legislatures to back his play

    I'll take those odds. YMMV

Assuming each of those are of equal weight. I HATED the bumpstock thing. But it’s not equal to what my 401K has lost. The medical tyranny, in my opinion, is the worst thing to happen to this country in awhile. When will republicans ever learn the things they allow, the democrats take to extremes. Trump is not responsible for everything that happened after he left office but had he not allowed himself to be cowed into allowing the covid stuff he did, I do wonder if we’d hit the lows we have.

As I’ve said several times before: I would have crawled through broken glass to vote for Trump in 2020. 2024? He’s not going to be my first choice.

I do know that my 401K was in a helluva lot better shape prior to Biden taking office. Now it's down almost 19%. I'm not gonna blame Trump for that. Nor am I going to blame Trump for runaway inflation, ongoing supply chain issues, increased energy costs, etc.. Not to mention pistol braces, binary triggers, etc. that have come under fire since Biden took office.

“Former staffer”. Thats like when someone goes crazy and does some stupid **** they go to the “ex spouse” to see what kind-of person they are. News Media is nothing but poor entertainment anymore.

In much of Indiana, there’s not much of a difference between a democrat and a republican.
A democrat is now a communist, and a republican is now a democrat......do the math. We have very few conservatives left in the country. We are all ran by Communists and moderate democrats. Thats the 2 party system....why they keep calling it democrat and republican is just for appearances so the sheep know who to vote for. A lot of democrats are surprised they are actually communists, and a lot of republicans are surprised they are actually happy being moderate democrats. Neither side can stomach calling themselves what they really are. IMHO.

The Overton window always shifts left. That's for sure.

I agree. The absolute blind hatred toward Trump in 2016 woke me up to start paying more attention to politics. It started with seeking an answer to “why do they hate him so much?”. My digging led me to realizing the deep and wide roots that Marxism has in our country now with no intent to “coexist”. Marxism’s chief goal is to overthrow and tear down the system. In our case “the system” seems to be a constitutional republic.

This is the point so many here cannot see. Maybe in your little burg of the state republican voters are conservatives but in the cities and suburbs the majority are definitely democrat/lite. I see this in the strident comments about Todd Young being no different than a democrat and it is just silly to equate an NRA B rated candidate that one is dissapointed in and despises to a NRA rated F candidate…

It is hard to fix things when you do not know what time it is...
