That’s not what is being discussed. We are talking buying and using And the claim that it’s a victimless crime. My take is there is at least a single scenario out there where a druggie obtains pot and as a result there is a victim due to the crime. Can you assure me by putting your life on the table that there will never be a victim due to someones use of pot?
Can you assure me by putting your life on the table that there will never be a victim due to someones use of dang near anything?

can you assure me by putting your life on the table that there will never be a victim due to someone's use or possession of a gun?
Again are we really comparing a constitutionally guaranteed right to a fools choice to do drugs? Also you claimed pot is a victimless crime. My point is that there is a scenario where having the ability to acquire pot could end up in having a victim. With that you can’t claim that drug use is victimless. Not once have I ever claimed that the use of a gun is victimless. It definitely isn’t illegal in many circumstances and ownership is constitutionally guaranteed.

No, so that goes to my point that using pot is not a clear cut 100% victimless crime.
Actually it goes against your point. How is someone using/buying pot different than someone using/buying a hammer or anything else? Both can end up with victims. I grow some plants in my basement, dry, and smoke them vs I go buy a nice 20oz framing hammer and bash my neighbors head in because I don't like the color they did their house in. (Both are simply examples I have no intent on doing either, and don't mind my neighbors house colors(well except the one but it was like it before they bought it so...)) which has a victim?

Heck I buy from the guy across town who buys it from another guy in the next county over that grows it among his corn, take it home and party down vs going to menards and renting their truck for $19.95 and driving it through a parade? Which one has victims?

Should buying and selling of hammers be illegal? How about renting trucks? How about cough syrup? Alcohol? Tobacco? Caffeine containing products? How about a whole host of things that are intoxicants or can be used as such? Or anything that can cause someone to be a victim? If the last, well I'm not sure what the solution would be. Except for perhaps the complete elimination of life. Everything can or does have a victim.

What would you say to the fact that during the summer I can hardly drive a half mile down country roads without seeing a completely legal plant that contains an easily extractable and pretty potent hallucinogen? Is letting birds crap along fence rows a victimless crime? And I see people planting or letting it grow in town as well, heck they sell the seeds just about everywhere. And by the way cannabis in some parts of IN is even thicker than what I'm talking about, and spreads the same way.

Yeah, Im not sure he realizes he's using the same flawed logic as gun grabbers.
IMO worse than that, same logic of the nanny state supporters which the gun grabbers are just a portion of them. Like hot rods? Well they burn too much fuel, are too bad for the environment, and just too dang dangerous. And that is just the very low hanging fruit.

Fishing? Oh no, too much of a chance of pcbs or other chemicals, have to have farmed fish. Oh wait farmed fish is bad for the environment, eat crickets. Oh wait. Name pretty much anything I can come up with a reason against it.

    Puppies. You gotta like puppies.
Yep, I like puppies. Ever hear of a stolen puppy? Puppy chow mein? How about all the innocent critters puppies kill? People attacked by puppies. Puppies crapping on peoples lawns? All of which have a victim.

Puppies are bad and should be banned. I'm sure at least a few of the wildlife around me would agree.

Wait I like puppies. I'm just enlightened enough that I realize that puppies are bad and should be banned, just like all progressive logical thinkers think. Are you saying you are not a progressive logical thinker? Perhaps I should call the rainbow shirts and let them know.
Me after confronting the rainbow shirts...
