I am unsure if I am “healed” or if they are helping a ton. Heal is still tender on hardwood floors and feels great in the boot so it is helping for sure. And feels way better now that I got the big boy inserts
In my experience with it, the tenderness is long lasting, I mean I’ve been over it for over ten years, occasionally I’ll step on something, like a piece of cat food, and it will definitely make me weak knee’d. Some sort of padding will help, even if it’s a pair of flip flops just to wear in the house. It will make a difference.

Real men do not wear flip flops(we wear house slippers lol).

I do not want to see you trying to wear crocs as briefs ok? Just making it known I in no way support this(closes eyes).
Would be more comfortable than tighty whitey briefs.

ok I won’t send you pics if you stop showing me stuff I want to spend $$ on

Okay, you guys are the experts, but can we all agree that 1) underwear should not be worn as footwear, and 2) crocs should not be worn as underwear? Actually I think crocs should not be worn at all, at least not by men, but we'll save that for another time. :):
I would not allow crocs in my house even when my daughter was a teenager. Foam shoes? NOT in my house lol. I agree with #1 and #3. If they want crocs in their house who am I to judge if they wear them as underwear? I just kind of though it was a normal kind of thing for those that wear them?

They are really cozy boots(mukluks) . You can even order different liners for different temperatures. When I got mine they cost WAY more($299 I if memory serves, moose hide was a big problem that year apparently 2011) and we picked them up directly from the shop in Ely on the way back from Rainy Lake(house boat trip).

*Edit. Apparently you can not buy what I have. Mine are traditional, but full leather top to bottom. Those say canvas top now. Abominations!

You will now have to spend $299 like I did and get these for full leather ones. With a (scoff) modern sole.

I just always thought they looked like they'd make your feet sweat really bad. Like wearing thick plastic bags as socks. :):

I bought a pair to wear when I fished the creek so I could wade it. After about 30 minutes my ankle hurt so bad I couldn’t hardly walk. No more crocs for me!

I have noticed something that seems to happen,at least to the males in this thread that wear crocs. They share the same feet problems, probably just a coincidence.

Just giving you a hard time, but you will know if you run into me on the trail and are wearing crocs. I will be the guy keeled over laughing(I have actually seen it before, and yes I really just started laughing). Day hikers of course.

Get better soon. Nature is calling(fall is a great time to hike, less bugs, people, and the colors are amazing).
