We should be cheering them on and providing as much encouragement as we can. To be the first state to have a catastrophic failure of the only power source at their disposal would not only be eye opening, it would be an epic laugh for me. Help them fail then set back an roll in the profits to “help” them recover. There could be decades of failed replacements sold to the state while they lack any infrastructure that works effectively. This could be better than any reality show…
Unfortunately, it will be the little people who suffer. The Pelosis of the world can afford banked solar with high capacity battery storage or propane powered generators (or both) and will not suffer from their own misguided policies

How much more are the citizens of California going to take all this garbage?
Are the majority of California voters that ignorant?
Why do they continue to vote in people that are making life hard on California citizens?

You'd think they'd be 'inoculated' by being surrounded by that many lies.
Instead, they see the truth so little, they can not recognize the truth anymore.

Yes they seem to be that ignorant. Remember that they recently held a recall vote for their governor who is pushing this bull. They voted to keep him in office and continue the stupidity.

California is awesome, but Californians kind of ruin it. I'm not sure if the roving street gangs or the vegan hippies are worse. Seriously beautful land, though. I'd honestly love to live in some of the more rural areas there if it the political and cost of living issues weren't so ridiculous.

Well, they’re most likely liberals, so until proven otherwise I’ll withhold my concern.

Yep, all about control. And if you guys think you are burning wood in the future and cannot be stopped it is delusional thinking…
Just saw an article about firewood (to buy) shortages in many states. Many of the buyers are generally seniors looking for real warmth they can feel and to save on utility bills. They have already started regulating wood stoves.

In Europe they cannot get wood and will be arrested if they even scavenge in the forests. Folks here say that can’t happen here but they have already proven they can even control YOU on YOUR land. They can just use the same principles that they use to protect a snail and will shut you down, I mean who can be against saving the whole planet?

I don’t like this but it needs to be in folks minds this is the plan…

Makes me glad I live in the woods.

Do you really think that will matter? They will find you. As proven during wuwho flu hysteria, neighbors are excited to narc you out and you cannot hide the smell of wood smoke, it drifts for miles. I guarantee you have a zealous believer near you…

I'm not worried, when you get south of Bedford, everybody is burning wood, maybe they can smell it in Bloomington. My neighbors are drug dealers and mean hillbillies. ;)

Yeah, I'm a gas range guy myself. This doesn't eliminate that, at least not yet. But per the article there are 50 some cities/towns that do restrict them. I'm still bumed that my wife wouldn't let me alter the kitchen cabinets after they were already ordered, to get a stove/range that cost 3x as much as what I have. I tried telling her it was a very nice stove but she wouldn't listen. Commercial 7 burner with dual ovens and true convection.

And yeah I (tried) scorched a pepper on an electric burner, it sucks.

Eh most of the ones I know that do/have done that just fill up the burn barrel with non burnables over time then have the whole thing hauled to the dump. $10 for the barrel and maybe $10-20 for the dump over a year. Never known any to take it to gas stations in a Wallyworld bag.
My mom got one of these. She thinks it is great. I do not see her often, but it seems to be a great range. She likes talking about it to lol.

Good thing my gas furnace isn't banned.
    It's working hard.

I'd be worried the electric grid couldn't take it if EVERYONE had electric heat and shut down my furnace now.
