Lots of people prefer cooking with gas. Probably why they chose a stove burner graphic instead of a furnace.

    And everyone likes to eat.

I'm one. During our kitchen remodel, the only thing I really cared about was ditching the electric stove for a gas stove. Now I've got a gas range and griddle. It's the best inside cooking you can do. Try to scorch a pepper on an electric burner...

I had to read that twice to verify what you said, because I bet some one here would argue that you absolutely can scorch a pe(ker on an electric burner.
Edit: Mod's feel free to delete my post if I have violated any policies. :ingo:

Yep, all about control. And if you guys think you are burning wood in the future and cannot be stopped it is delusional thinking…
I hear of people who burn trash and it's illegal. Then they take what is not burnable and throw it away at gas stations in Wal-mart bags....

Yeah, I'm a gas range guy myself. This doesn't eliminate that, at least not yet. But per the article there are 50 some cities/towns that do restrict them. I'm still bumed that my wife wouldn't let me alter the kitchen cabinets after they were already ordered, to get a stove/range that cost 3x as much as what I have. I tried telling her it was a very nice stove but she wouldn't listen. Commercial 7 burner with dual ovens and true convection.

And yeah I (tried) scorched a pepper on an electric burner, it sucks.

Eh most of the ones I know that do/have done that just fill up the burn barrel with non burnables over time then have the whole thing hauled to the dump. $10 for the barrel and maybe $10-20 for the dump over a year. Never known any to take it to gas stations in a Wallyworld bag.

I've been hearing for 50 years, that Commiefornia was going to slide into the ocean.
Now would a perfect time to fulfil that theory.
It wouldn't hurt my feelings if, someone pulled the plug and let NY drain into oblivion.
