I don't think the person who stuck it there understands either. :)

(Also, at 27, I'm happy to be one of the few. Don't mix magnets and floppy disks, folks!)

When I was doing computer support for an insurance company in downtown Indy in the late 90's, I had this one admin assistant who kept constantly having odd computer issues. The first time I went to her desk to observe the issues and then reinstall a couple apps, the second time I went and got her PC and reimaged it. The third time we gave her a new computer. Every time she had cleaned off her computer of the sticky notes and stuff she normally had on it. After all this, she was still having issues. Finally her boss, who was my boss's boss called me up to his office and was lighting into me. She was out that day, but he told me to grab her PC and fix it or be fired. I went to get the PC, which wasn't cleaned off this time and when I went to pick it up, felt something on the side. When I looked it was a heavy duty tape erasing magnet stuck to the side of her PC. I pulled it off, went into the boss's office and said "open your hand". He did and I dropped the magnet in it. I said, "found the problem" and told him that it was stuck to the side of the PC. Bass turd didn't apologize or anything, just looked at me and said that he'd have a conversation with her about it.
