Called off a few weeks back on the first half of a double because my neck was stiff and I couldn't turn my head to the right. I was supposed to run a crane with the tongs on the right for that shift. Called off, strapped a heating pad to my neck, went back to bed, then went in for the second half and ran my normal crane with the tongs on the left with no issue. Urgent cares aren't open at 10:00 at night so I didn't go and get a Dr note.

Got a write up today with a five day suspension pending termination because some crap from two years ago never fell off my record like they said it would. I have a meeting on Monday with the HR dick to keep my job. I'm not worried because people have kept their jobs for far more egregious crap.

So all I learned was if I have to call off, call off both shifts, get that doctor note, and probably miss one or two additional shifts because doc always want you to be out for 24-48 hours after symptoms cease.

Yup. Bunch of people that NEVER worked in the field making stupid decisions.
And yet, we wonder why things go to hell.

I've been watching her campaign.

She has the values of most reasonable people. Pro-school choice, believes in small government, states rights, gun rights/personal protection, wants taxes and federal agencies restrained.

She is a veteran and a patriot.

She is a black woman.

The demographics of her district are very favorable to a minority candidate and being a woman in a campaign is also a bonus.

The UNIONS (all of them) will campaign hard against her because they have Mrvan in their pocket.

So the question is, for Mrvan to maintain his seat, how do her political opponents (Mrvan + the Democratic Party + Unions) attack a minority female without upsetting 2 very large voting blocks?

No need to attack.
The dead will vote, the Democratic voters will vote at least twice (via mail and in-person), additional write-in ballots will magically appear and finally the electronic machines even if you press another candidate than mrvan it will still count for him.

I'd assume the same for her as Tulsi being railroaded in 2020... Veteran woman of a non white background... Democratic party only say that's what they want.
