Looking for a safe to store some long guns. Hopefully it won’t break the bank. I may hide it in a wall as I’m refinishing my basement.

Prolly gonna have 10-15 by the time I’m done collecting.

Any advice on low profile safes

This is an incredibly informative website - chock full of useful information / education about "gun safes" - IE what actually is a safe vs what isn't.

Right now I’m thinking a inexpensive safe to store my firearms away from the kiddos. I’m going to go check out rural king today and see what they have available.

Yeah It might turn into a hidden gun room by the time I’m done.
We moved to a newer house, out in the county, about 15 months ago...and there were two little finished rooms in the basement (about 10' x 12' which are not bedrooms, as there is no egress windows) but are trimmed out, are carpeted, have closets, has nice wallpaper, etc. and my wife suggested one be a 'gun' room, which is what I was thinking but I am smart enough, nowadays, to wait for the suggestion rather than always ask, that way it be her idea and not mine, and then, later, it can't go back!
I picked up two (2) Winchester TS26-45 safes...26 guns apiece with 45 minutes at 1400 degrees fire rating...got 'em on sale at Tractor Supply saving $150 per safe or $300 total saved!
They're not even half full...but there's room for growth...he he
