Anyone have any experience with these? Looking at something compact for my 3" 1911 with a little better retention. Not sure if anyone has tried these yet. Prime has them with next day shipping and free returns so I guess this is fairly risk free but first hand experience would be nice.

Yes, I like them..I have two of them for my Small/Med. size Glocks
The IWB model fits my G-26 well, very secure, but does come out very cleanly, once the small lever is pushed.
The OWB model that I have fits my G-19, and G-23 well , and has the paddle on it for belt retention. The paddle is a little uncomfortable due to the stiffness.
If/when I Open Carry these are my go-to due to the design, and fit.
AND-the Weapon will NOT come out unless the lever is applied...Bill.

I like it. Rides a little higher than my previous leather owb but the catch is very ergonomically located. Middle finger falls to it. Snug fit, tight to the body. I think I’m going to enjoy this and having piece of mind that the positive retention is holding it in place. The old leather was a few years old and getting a little sloppy for reholstering and the belt loop slots were getting worn. Still worked decent enough but this is just nicer.

I have a few for Glocks of various sizes. They conceal well under an untucked button up shirt, and have great retention. No worries of losing the gun when on the motorcycle.

Practice the release and draw for a while and it becomes second nature.

Any reason you went with that instead of their ALS model? Looks very similar to safariland, which works well. I’m not quite seeing how the carryloc gets pressed and if it’s real natural in the draw.

I wanted leather not kydex mainly. Something to tuck my 3” 1911 tight for easy concealment but decent retention and comfort.

The lock is released with your middle finger as you grip the pistol as it falls right under it. It really took about 2 draws for it to feel pretty natural. I have a feeling I’ll be reaching for that lever on my other holsters for other guns lol

Does your release push forward toward the gun or in toward your hip?

ETA: just found out that there is a kydex or similar lining inside this, only from reading reviews, bianchi should explain this a little better imo.

In towards the hip. As you close your grip it releases.

Edit: I no longer have offsite pic hosting or I’d share some photos of my $5 gun in a $60 holster.

Wore it all weekend. Comfortable in the car and out and about. Tucks tight, nice retention and holds the heavy little ATI well. it took a little getting used to it being about an inch higher than my last leather holster but now I don't notice.

    Overall good buy IMO.

I have one for my 1911 to be honest for me the release is not my favorite, nor did I find the holster to be comfortable overall. I trained so much with the every one is going to shoot them selves holster that I will stick with it. Not dogging on it but there is a reason most everyone has a box of holsters.
