I've ran just over a thousand rounds through mine. All of those, save for 1 box of Magtech, have been 180gr reloads running 1200fps or better. So far she's been 100% reliable. I'm gonna get mine cut for a dot here soon.

Very nice! A RDS would make that package perfect I really wish SIG offered it from the factory like that given the cost.

A friend has one of those, his trigger group got stand he couldn’t disassemble it, and when he put his can on it, it wasn’t reliable!
While usually advocating for FB is not something I do, there is a Flux Owners page that is an absolutely fantastic resource. The 2 guys that run Flux Defense are active and there are several threads about which setups work best with different barrels, slides, comps, cans, ammo, you name it. They are also very quick to address any malfunction issues with the brace itself, as well as making it right if something is faulty.

The planets must have aligned last week... I was surfing around and stumbled upon a LGS out west that had a website with an assortment of used fun. A bit of negotiation and cc charge later...

I found one that is 'on my list'... A P239 that checks all the boxes.
Two tone, newer night sights, both .40 and 357 sig barrels, Crimson Trace laser grips, 4-.40 mags, 3- 357 mags, box, man, etc.

The slide is probably one of the tighter slides of any Sig I have. Shows very little wear. Yes- its dirty inside, probably never cleaned and has the original dried up dollop of white grease. Its going to get a proper total strip down, cleaning and new springs. Armory craft adjustable flat trigger is on order.

I could not pass it up and probably paid more than I should have. But, as I said, for a P239, for me, it checks all the boxes. Except for maybe being a SAS or original 357 Sig.

So to quote a famous quote...
"A weapon from a more civilized time, before the dark times, before the polymer guns"... :lmfao:.

    :ingo: :patriot:

You didn’t pay more than it’s worth, it’s a “future investment!” Cause more than likely it’ll be worth more than you paid for it “someday”

My nitron p239 with plastic grips, and 3 dot sights was 430 used in 1993 when I bought it (I’ve added night sights and rosewood grips, and a 3rd mag) and if I remember right, the last one a saw at a gun show was 700 and in a lot worse shape than mine!
