I've bought from them several times before. No problems other than slow shipping, but that was at the hight of the Covid-19 stupidity. They have several stores around Kentucky and in Cincinnati also. The Florence store is closest to me.

I have not shot that brand of 9mm. I'd call and ask them directly about it as well as try to find reviews online.

Appreciated, until I get set up again for reloading I need cheap 9mm to feed my PTR9

I ordered some 300blk from them over a month ago. Two weeks ago they sent an email saying the shipment would be at their facility in a week, then the next week they would be shipping it out me.

Now they sent an email saying the shipment will be held indefinitely in customs. They offered to refund my money or send the same amount of rounds from a different brand at no additional charge. Well that was Monday and still no tracking # today.

Personally I won't be doing business with them again. I hate when companies sell items that they don't actually have on hand.

I agree with that. It’s asking for problems. If I pay, I expect that you have it and I’ll get it promptly.

What's really messed up is Monday is when they told me the shipment is held indefinitely, and then Wednesday they email me a ad with that ammo still for sale! If I don't get tracking tomorrow I'll cancel the order.

I definitely would not put up with that.
I can get ahold of the Florence store and drive there to get what I want. About an hour round trip for me.

Not limited to ammo companies. Kroger advertised 3 lb. packages of thick sliced bacon at $4.99/lb (sale started yesterday), yet when I went yesterday they didn't have any at all. They did have it when I went back today, but that's just poor management. Don't advertise something for sale if you don't have it on hand. Simple as that.

I feel the need to report my recent purchase from Shaw Armament System in Powder Springs, GA.

Here is the deal I found.....

I purchased enough for free shipping and there was no tax. So for me it came out to .30 cents a round.

It only took 72 hours from the point I ordered until the ammo was on my front doorstep.

I got exactly what I ordered and it was not beat up during shipping. Shaw really taped up the boxes a lot. I think this helped them to survive the trip.

    Gotta say, I'm pleasantly surprised.

How much do you have to buy to get free shipping?

I was pricing 9mm ammo today and most places are charging $50 and up to ship two cases. One place was $100 just for shipping. Screw that.
