All this talk of illness has me wondering what's wrong with me?

My wife tested positive for COVID this past Saturday (fully vaxx'd like me). I'm told by my employer that I must stay home for the week and if I'm symptom free can go back to the office on Monday, 31 January. Been working remotely from home all week, no symptoms.

Granddaughter no. 2 (16 months old) tests positive on Sunday. Due to my daughter and son-in-law's work schedules, my wife (feeling better, but still weak with lots of congestion and coughing) volunteers us to watch both our granddaughters on Wednesday ... yeah, both girls have to stay home, but mom and dad can go back to work.

Long and convoluted story, but I've been around at least 2 COVID positive people this entire week and I'm still symptom free.

I'm beginning to feel a bit ripped off ... when do I get sick? WTF is wrong with me?

    Love the grips.
CKW has some choices to make as in color/mill work on the slide and what grips.
    Tghis is gonna be fun.

We are all sick here in the compound. 15 year old is on Covid quarantine as she went home sick from school, but she has what we all have, and it is not Covid. Everybody tested negative. But they have to call it Covid.
Our primary care Doctor is so tired of this :poop: but has to follow the leaders to keep her job.
I have been hacking up lung chunks for a couple of days as I am the last one to catch it.

Got the latest Colt working this evening, and a magazine arrived for it today. This is the lowest Commercial model serial number I have and it will need some finish work. I'm going to set up a fire blue crucible to do the small parts and get it some better grips. I'll shoot it tomorrow to check accuracy, but usually these guns do pretty well for their old iron sights. Finally I'll need a period holster, maybe a good Brauer Bros. as TR liked these guns, although his is the file side military version. colt0219c.jpg Teddys-Colt-courtesy-rockislandauctions.com_.jpg

I hope that I didn't pickup the virus at the funeral /showing.
Since the deceased had worked for the same large employer for almost (40) years, there were a fair amount of attendees.
And you know how people get at these affairs...... there was a LOT of flesh pressed !
I guess that I'll find out in another day, or so, whether I get sick too.
I heard (somewhere......not revealing sources). that large amounts of hard liquor are good at warding off initial covid infections.......pretreat Birthday Boy!!!!!:40oz::buddies:
