OK, you math-magicians, what are the odds of this? My wife and a friend, both members of The Well Armed Woman (now called Armed Women of America) have been watching monthly videos on Glock's website. Part of the celebration of Glock's 35th year in the USA. They registered for a drawing of monthly prizes and a grand prize. Total of 13 prizes. Two or three months ago, the friend won the monthly prize which was a Glock 48 MOS. Three days ago, my wife was notified she had won the grand prize. It's a hand engraved, 35th Anniversary, Glock 17 Gen 5.

This was a nationwide promotion but may not have been too widely known. Nonetheless, the odds of these two each winning a gun have to be astronomical.

Picked up the gun at Beech Grove Firearms yesterday. Absolutely incredible! We are assuming, based on the unique non-sequential "serial number", that it is the only one Glock produced.

Don't know what those odds are, but I bet they are better than me ever winning anything like that!

What a story to go along with the Glocks for the future! Take pictures of gals and their guns and document the events for your heirs. Congrats to both women.

Update on the gun. It is a one-of-a-kind gun. One of one, as they say. It was hard to get an accurate appraisal since there is nothing to compare it to but it's been appraised at enough to buy a decent new car. We're still considering options and have turned down a 5 figure offer but, in the meantime, it isn't eating anything or burning any gasoline.
