It is easier than actually reading the article.I am sure glad we have the Fact Checkers on here.

I found in my searching that there is a difference between the "international" Salvation Army organization and the "U.S." Salvation Army organization. The international seems to be the most "woke" (and they're based in Europe I think, so...)From the Salvation Army Study Guide On Racism
You Sunday School teacher take note:
'Racism can be so entrenched in institutions and culture that people can unintentionally and unwittingly perpetuate racial division. For instance, devout Christians who naively use racial epithets or a well-intentioned Sunday School curriculum that only uses white photography and imagery.'
And who is Central Nova News and why should I trust them?
Yes, the study guide is from the international organization (you can tell by the weird spellings). I don't think the US organization would be concerned by caste systems (Indian).I'd also note that the "Racism study guide" discusses hispanics being prejudiced against people from other hispanic countries, Indian castes, Japanese vs Chinese, etc so it isn't just 'white are bad mmmkay' I think the article is mostly true, but presented without any sort of nuance or context, and I don't think bell ringers are going to be soliciting racial apologies.
One of the best ways to effect change is to do as you suggest. Stop donating...THEN contact them and let them know!I am sure they will retract it, however just like a bullet it can not be recalled. I would hate to burden them with any further donations from me.
They are off my list of charitable donations list.
Welllll, I'm sure the woke and POC will pick up the slackIs Newsweek more acceptable…
Donors Withdraw as Salvation Army Enacts Racial 'Wokeness'
Following the incorporation of a new "woke" initiative into its curriculum, some Salvation Army officers and donors are withdrawing their support.www.newsweek.com
Very true, not that it matters I am sure they will not miss the donations I make, but like anything I don’t complain, whine, however I will send them a quick email to express our parting of ways. One of the best ways to effect change is to do as you suggest. They wont miss yours. That is true. But they will definitely miss seeing tens of thousands of donations disappear like a fart in the wind.Very true, not that it matters I am sure they will not miss the donations I make, but like anything I don’t complain, whine, however I will send them a quick email to express our parting of ways.
I am fairly certain the March of Dimes will appreciate the increase in donation.
Pretty good idea. Too bad they can not build on your idea, sort of a personalized go woke go broke card. They wont miss yours. That is true. But they will definitely miss seeing tens of thousands of donations disappear like a fart in the wind.
Ive considered modifying one of those "no guns no money" cards that you can hand out to anti gun establishments to let them know in concrete terms that their policies are impacting their bottom line. Probably will put a dollar bill green tint as a background so that when folded over a couple times appears like a rolled up bill to the casual observer.
Its going to take more than just not donating. They can chalk that reduction up to the economy, etc. They cant (easily) ignore folks dropping notes in the kettles saying "Yeah, your wokeness cost you. Fix it if you want my money."
I'll see what I can do. Im not as talented as some here. But I'll do my best. Just gotta find my template...
I think you guys are on to something. Build us a .pdf we can download and print at home. Something that fits on a page that can be cut into dolla bill sized parts.
Icing on the cake is that something like this can be posted here and many other places on the web.
