THIS!! They will NOT give you accurate statistics on how many staff were lost in the health system nearest you because they simply define them differently.

They openly admit they lost (fired/suspended for non-compliance) 1% of staff...for a moderately sized health system with a primary hospital location and a handful of outpatient clinics that may be roughly 40 people. They will not consider the staff that left to work elsewhere because that is 'natural attrition' and we will do a market rate evaluation to bring our pay structure up, or those that retired because that is their personal decision. They won't openly speak of the HIGH number of mysteriously vacant positions they currently have and cannot seem to fill, or the cost of temporary staff (from staffing agencies) they are using while they are trying to hire permanent team members. They won't even touch on the student population in the pipeline that simply disappeared because they chose another career path when they weren't logically comfortable with mandated compliance to a 91% percent-ish effective jab (w/ no liability on it's creators or producers) as a therapeutic treatment for a 99% survivable illness.

What you will experience personally is hours long waits in the emergency room. This is an every day struggle in the Indianapolis and surrounding areas; your mileage may vary in your home town. If you have an acute illness and dial 911 you may or may not receive prompt care and there is a real likelihood that the team that responds to your call is BLS and not ALS (basic life support with limited scope of practice...to use plain words, no IV pain meds for you). Not to mention the real concern that there are ambulances sitting without crews on a daily basis because they simply cannot hire people to work THAT job with THOSE mandates...for $16 an hour.

It’s hard for me to imagine that 9 people liked that post you guys are quoting (the second one in this thread!) 7 months ago, but I think many may not like it as much now.
What did Kirk say that's wrong? People have been saying, "It could be dangerous, I'll wait." Some of those people waited then got it; that's human nature, INGOers "liked" that he pointed that out. (RIP IndyDave :( )

Kirk said nothing “wrong“ just not the whole story. He missed a lot that is happening…

This ONLY applies when the freedom to discuss, freedom of peer review, and freedom of dissemination of facts exists. Not during an embargo of discussion in the modern day town squares and the cancellation of scientists that have a different opinion…

And taxpayer money isn’t used. If you have to pay people to do something that you think is good for them and they think it’s not food for them, you have a serious distrust issue. Don’t spend my money to try to overcome your public trust issues.

Well. The pill isn’t 100%. And experts recommend wearing a condom even if the female partner is on the pill. But let’s imagine a world where OSHA tries to mandate that. It’s not all that far from the world we’re in now.
And osha requiring me to wear one so your wife doesn’t get pregnant even though I got fixed years ago. Wow this is a really good analogy.

So, take a contraceptive vaccine that still lets you get pregnant but you still wear condoms and your neighbor has to wear one as well so she doesn’t get pregnant even though he’s had a vasectomy and doesn’t have sexual with your wife all mandated by osha

That first line I thought ‘that’s really funny shots fired’ but then I re-read it and was like, no, literally that’s what they’re doing.
    Good analogy.

Not very many people relatively have waited to take it, the vast majority that believe in it got it as it became available. I guess that’s hindsight, but it had fallen short of any of the motivators goals.

I did not see the difference in motivating from incentives or coercion at that time and believe incentives turned into strong armed coercion, (“our patience is wearing thin with you”), the lines were blurred.

I am certain that more recent conversations with Kirk shaded my perspective when going back and reading this old post, but at the same time while I disagree my post was about being equally surprised at who liked it.
A few minds have changed seeing the vaccine in a positive light but more have changed against it, in large part due to coercion, IMO.

And yes, RIP Dave and many others’ family members on here. :(

The pill has been around long enough its known to be 99% effective.....Covid shot was said to be 97%...then 60%....then 38%....then and now as low as 13%......ah heck.....your going to get it because it doesn't work at all.....but hey someone is making $$$$$$$.
