good morning everyone dog has had me up since 5 and her guts are rumbling and squealing and now the feral cat came in to stir her up.47 and still raining

yesterday got real busy early( now the cat is up on the desk)
my son got his first deer, a nice 8 point 140 lb., that I helped him track down. The bolt went right through the lungs and he still did quite a bit of travelling. I need to go take in to be processed in a bit, my old neighbor came over and helped him dress it out

Congratulations on the venison. I'm 100 pages behind, but I needed to see how y'all are. Hope things are improving at DD's place.

DD is now sick this morning on top of everything else he has had to shoulder

made a 4 quart dish of shepherd's pie and Irish soda bread for supper. My wife made a Bailey's poke cake for dessert and the kids came over and put a huge dent into it. This cold and rainy weather calls for hot heavy comfort food
