Yups let's see how jedi Halloween lights held up. The storm yesterday killed them. :(

Hope the lights are OK, jedi. We do the straw and pumpkin decorations, etc..., but no lights. I do have one electric pumpkin, though, that makes up for it.

It's kinda dark at the front door, just enough light to get there - then when I open the door to treat the little munchkins, I nudge it with my foot and it comes to life! Bright lights and a LOUD dastardly laugh. Only a few, over the years, have started crying. The little babies.

Dang. This was my ONLY day off, and I slept till 5 pm.

And I need to get my Halloween light show going.
Fortunately it will go fast. Unlike the Christmas lights.
I have two "faces" that need to be put up, and they are 4x4 sheets already made. Wire tie them up, and plug in the 7 plugs each.
But I'd like to put together the other 2 "faces".

The inflatable ghost survived (its first year)
The inflatable pumpkin with cat survived (its 2nd year).

Sadly the 7ft inflatable stacking pumpkins took a beating and did not make it. :(

All the LED lights are ok as well. No burned out lights yet. (2nd year)

jedi is not sure what tripped the outdoor outlet. It may have bee the pumpkin that caused a short and the outlet protected itself and turned off.

No sign of water inside the outdoor outlet box and its siliconed all around the outside so doubt it was at the outlet.

Now the left front lawn looks bare without the pumpkins. Oh well. Next year another "monster" will go there. Only 2 weeks left so not worth spending any more on these decorations.

Inflatables usually don't last too long.

    R u speaking from experience?
Does the mrs know about this?
    :p

It's ok. Next year jedi will change it up again with some window decorations instead or some more wire mold decorations. Dont want to make it scary cause there are many little ones in the area that come for candy.

We've got AT&T for internet and landline, but I am thinking about switching because of the cost. Anyone know if there any other options in Crown Point? I don't want to give up the dinosaur landline. I want to be able to plug a corded, non-electric phone into the jack and have it work whether we have power or internet or not. (Don't judge, I have my reasons.)

I would call Net Nitco or Comcast
