I didn't just fall off the turnip truck. Argue a valid point. So you’re saying vaccinated people don’t catch and spread the virus
Even my chipmunk understands breakthrough infection data.

You put your faith in whatever makes you comfortable snd I’ll do the same. The argument is circular. https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/covid19/index.htm
If you have alternative statistics, please cite them. If not, there is no debate.
Well, that was kinda my point. It still infects vaccinated individuals, and they still spread the virus if they’re infected. Israel is a good example of this.I didn't just fall off the turnip truck. Argue a valid point.

You understand homicide rates. Please predict who and who will not die by gunshot wound. You put your faith in whatever makes you comfortable snd I’ll do the same.
The argument is not circular. If you cannot predict who will or won’t fall seriously ill than there is no possible way to determine how effective an injection was, is or will be.
I don't care. Do what you want. Just don't make generalizations that reduce your own credibility on the issue.Well, that was kinda my point. It still infects vaccinated individuals, and they still spread the virus if they’re infected. Israel is a good example of this.
My question is, and maybe you can help me, why should I get the vaccine?
All 3 studies concluded that those who have had COVID-19 have less severe symptoms the second time around. If they do you’ll have to point it out to me because I don’t see it without making assumptions or jumping to conclusions.
I wasn’t asking why “I should” get the vaccine... I’m asking WHY I should. Uh. Ya. Something like that.I don't care. Do what you want. Just don't make generalizations that reduce your own credibility on the issue.
Can't help ya there, bud. I don't care if you do or not. You pays yer money and you takes yer chances.I wasn’t asking why “I should” get the vaccine... I’m asking WHY I should. Uh. Ya. Something like that.
Yes, your observation is not in error in it's non-specificity. You don't talk about the rate of change related to infection with and without vaccination. It would be more accurate to say that "Some vaccinated people still become infected from Covid". Further accuracy could be provided by indicating the statistical rates of breakthrough infections.Vaccinated people still become infected from Covid. Vaccinated people that are infected still spread the virus. That’s not debatable. Your issue must be with the shows it doesn’t work part. Well. It does.
Yes, it does. The entire point of a vaccine is to prevent infection and the spread of a virus. It doesn’t do that.
I’m not the one claiming to have any knowledge whatsoever. I’m not trying to convince anyone to believe me. I’m asking to be convinced and I can promise you that a U.S. Government run agency has no more credibility than CNN or the neighborhood drunk down the street. You understand homicide rates. Please predict who and who will not die by gunshot wound.
Statistically, you can infer what the results might be for me based on race, demographics, etc., but you cannot tell me with certainty that I will die by homicide....unless you are the one holding the pistola.
Prove it objectively.Yes, it does.
You are talking to the wrong person if you want those answers from me. I don't care whether you get vaccinated or not. The statistics are available for you to make your own decision. My own family experience is only anecdotal and only semi-useful in convincing the unvaccinated members of my extended family that it is in their best interest to get the vaccine.I’m not the one claiming to have any knowledge whatsoever. That’s a big responsibility. I hope it works out long term. You are talking to the wrong person if you want those answers from me. I don't care whether you get vaccinated or not. You google at least as well as I do. Read the CDC reports. Here are a couple of studies so that I don't get accused of not attempting to meet your request.Prove it objectively.

Effectiveness of COVID-19 mRNA Vaccines...
COVID-19 mRNA vaccine effectiveness among U.S. veterans remains high, even during Delta variant spread.www.cdc.gov
Effectiveness of COVID-19 Vaccines in Preventing SARS-CoV-2...
For frontline workers, COVID-19 mRNA vaccines, Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna, are effective against viral infection, but less effective during Delta variant spread.www.cdc.gov
I looked at the free dictionary definition, Websters, and the CDC none of which match yours. Where did you find that definition? The entire point of a vaccine is to prevent infection and the spread of a virus.

Good luck.
1 out of 8 siblings decided not to get the vaccination (age 60). He almost died of Covid (given remdesivir). That’s a big responsibility. I hope it works out long term.
