Therein lies the problem. Had he served a reasonable amount of time for each of his offenses, the bad guy would be safe and warm in cell block C. Maybe he would have been bunked up with G. floyd. Once a criminal is willing to ambush uniformed Peace officers in a marked Police vehicle, he proves he is a heartless animal willing to kill anyone.

Heroes, right there. I think it's good to be reminded from time to time what kind of nightmare scenarios LEOs can face. From just making small talk, (+1 for finding common ground as parents) to a fight for your life. Mag dump guy just made my day.
