We haven't had mail since Tuesday anyway thanks to this. City tore up the cul de sac to replace the curbs and sidewalks. Mail truck could not get to the box. They filled in the gap in between the curb and the street with asphalt today. Maybe we'll get mail Saturday (or tomorrow, or whenever the next mail day is.)

You'll note that I seldom complain about the weather...or my job and this is one big reason why.

What we get paid to sit in A/C spaces and yammer on just ain't godly....but it works for me.

Smells like wet dog in here. Dogs just had baths. Even clean wet dogs stink until they are dry.
I use a shampoo that smells like oranges. I'm surprised it bc actually works. Hartz Ultra Guard. Jack went swimming today, so he got a bath. He doesn't like organized wetness as much as jumping in a muddy creek.

We got a package on the porch today, which meant the mail person could have walked the mail up to the box and put it in, but they didn't. No letters, only the package.
The companies the USPS contracts with fir package delivery might have different standards than the mail. Also my driver will not deliver packages in winter to houses that do not clear their driveways.

Lol. Normally they'd hold someone over from the previous turn, but we were on startup from downturn so there's nobody to hold, ergo I was on my butt in the shanty under the AC. If it makes you feel any better, I don't have a day off this week. My last day off was 7/10 l and I won't have another one until 6/24

If that's not a typo I can understand your anger at work. Almost a year with no day off would **** anyone off.

Edit: I just found out p i s s is a bad word and gets filtered.

Some parcels are delivered by a different USPS person than the one delivering your mail. This happened a lot when I was in Gary, not so much now that I have a rural carrier.
