Should be a big nothing burger.
For whatever reason the media and the left, but I digress, see everything in racial terms.

New gun shop opening in Indy? Great, WONDERFUL, but I couldn't care less who owns it.
As long as they are honest and trustworthy, I don't care if they're from Mars!

Race should not have entered into this story.
    It has ZERO relevance.

You may think it has no relevance, but the fact that it hasn't happened in the over 200+ years of statehood for Indiana might indicate it is more significant than you might think. Especially considering most gun control in America has its roots in racist laws that were targeted at the black population in particular to disarm them.

By the Democrat party that many continue to support.

What I was trying to say is, I see people, not race.
The media sees race, not people.

    Is different...

Anyone, for quite some time now, can do whatever they desire to do. The problem with too many people is that there`s no instant gratification in starting up and running a business. Hard work, dedication, taking risks, the very very real possibility of failure, it`s not for everyone. It certainly hasn`t been for me. But nevertheless, anyone can do whatever they choose to work hard to do. I`m over the labels. Labels don`t unite, labels divide. I do not patronize anyone or anything that is construed to be special due to race. Period.

"All in all it's just another brick in the wall", to quote Pink Floyd. Another metric to remind us that we are different and how important skin color is to the media. They seek to divide us by putting race at the forefront of every discussion. It's completely irrelevant to me if he owns a shop or, for that matter lives next door. I'm constantly reminded of the phrase concerning the content of a man's character rather than the color of his skin, that's my metric.

How do "they" even know whether businesses anywhere in Indiana are owned by what race?

Is there some checkbox declaring race on a required form?

Where do the mixed race fall in this?

What about other categories? Latino, Native American, women, LGBT...?

I find it odd that the Left are the ones that bring up the color of a persons skin much more frequently than the right. They say they’re for equality and that a persons race should not have anything to do with their abilities or performance but yet they always make it known if a business is owned by a minority or female. I think most people today just want a good product or service and don’t really care who gives it to them. Let the performance of the business be the deciding factor in its success, or failure, and not the color of the owners skin. How can there ever be true equality when you continually mention a business or product is owned or operated by a certain race or hyphenated American? The Left thrives on divisiveness and racial discord to hold onto and gain more power.
I like going to gun shops, hobby shops, restaurants and book stores and there is not one time I can recall ever stopping to ask what race the owner was.

I've looked on google maps and can't find his place.

I'll check it out if it exists, but it isn't to be found right now.

Is this another one of those ingo threads?
