Weird. My wife has the same symptoms and she got Pfizer.

Now that I think about, those symptoms predate her vaccine by about 30 years so, forget I mentioned it.

Perhaps not typical INGO conversation, but many women have experienced early and/or heavy periods following COVID vaccination...even from mRNA vaccines.

6 reported CVST events out of 6,859,871 administered Janssen doses...that's about the same incidence as being struck by lightning.

By contrast, 1 in every 800 women aged 18-49 with a confirmed positive COVID case will die.

If we assume half of people who received Janssen are in that 18-49 female demographic (54.8% of all COVID vaccinated people are women) then there's 2750 times greater chance of women aged 18-49 dying after catching COVID than experiencing CVST caused by the Janssen vaccine.

I think we’re all far more likely to have some thing bad befall us like an accident in the home or a traffic accident then we are to have bad side effects from this vaccine. The reason I crossed over and decided to take it is because I’m 57. I know there are far fewer days in front of the horse than there are behind the cart. If I was younger I would probably hold off. But I know acquaintances who have died or will never be the same now because of this virus. I don’t want to join that group. Calculated risk.

I'm 59 now, right before I turned 56 I had a very mild stress induced heart attack due to the lose of my wife 6 months after she passed away. The result of that was a very small piece of plaque breaking off a heart valve (what I was told) that caused me to have a mini stoke. I know I have more tears behind me than in front of me.

I want to enjoy what I have left in life. I still have a Golden Retriever that I don't want him to deal with losing another human, it's been bad enough for him since I lost my Border Collie mix 1.5 months ago.

I have had many question me on why I got the Covid vaccine, many of them pro 2nd A people.

My question to them was, why do the Police and individuals carry firearms?

Their reply, "To protect themselves"

I state correct, so why shouldn't we protect ourselves from the 1% chance of getting the virus like we protect ourselves from the small chance of needing a gun.

Folks when we put this into that perspective, you get a different outlook on getting the vaccine or not. I have a friend that is still dealing with recovery from his 63 days on a ventilator. He almost died 3 times.

I do not want to attend my funeral earlier that I want to, I want to be around for a lot longer and be the cause of grief for some factions of our population. That faction of the population I will leave it up to you to guess.

Then again this might be the best vaccine ever produced in a hurry in 100 years.

If there is objective evidence of this, like a vaccine in the past ever. I am open to considering it. Seriously, it's not a matter of faith for me, it's evidence. If there is evidence that should be considered, I am very willing to do that.

The only vaccine at issue in that is Anthrax- which I had because guess who was in the Army during the 1st gulf war. To be clear, I defended Grand Rapids, MI...but I got the vaccine.

I think the only issues that have been observed in vaccines since the invention of vaccines are the only ones.

Regardless, it's a matter of percentages. Some people live in fear of one thing, others live in fear of other things. Some people make their judgment knowing that every decision has some kind of risk, take action and don't live in fear at all. I think we should all choose the latter regardless of whether we get the vaccine.

This also plays into other stats. Like wearing a seatbelt. Or eating healthy. Or maintaining an acceptable BMI.

I read about folks on here that carry their firearm in the shower(must have been watching John Wayne westerns, lol). I just wonder how out of condition they are and how much bbq they eat. They will die from lack of caring for themselves long before a thug gets them or a vaccine.

College student at my gym this morning said he just got the shot last Friday. I wonder if he's nervous. He feels fine but he said he was really sick the first 24 hours after getting it.

I believe it is associated with blood clots in females. IIHC, 6 instances reported our of 6 million?
