Well, if you read all the available pages, she doesn't hate White Supremacists, or White People who have embraced critical race theory; she hates a White Person she thought of as a friend who casually dropped the "N" word in a conversation. And she hates the kind of White Person who would invite her to dinner, but feel compelled to tell their neighbors she was coming and she was "one of the good ones."
Her Theology seems to have been "informed" by Methodist, Baptist, Buddhist, and Islamic teachings. I see little with which I can agree, but only God has the authority to judge her.

Hmm. Where should I turn to find inspiration, life advice, spiitual guidance and peace; the Bible and the teachings of Jesus who said "love your neighbor and even your enemies" or Shanequa Walker Barnes, PhD?

    Tough call.

I'm sure any minute now Jesus will become woke and send some new books down for his modern apostles to pen.

I'm afraid to look to see if I'm already way behind on this prophecy.

Well, tough call as it is, it appears that Ms Walker-Barns is a ****ing racist and member of the Woke cult. And not that I'm seeking spiritual guidance, but if I were, I think I'd have to cross Shanequa off my list of guides.

It's always possible it's nonsense and her name should be Walker-Barns Smollett

    It appears to be legit:

"Dr. Chanequa Walker-Barnes is associate professor of practical theology, teaching courses in pastoral care and counseling, spiritual formation, and reconciliation studies. Dr. Walker-Barnes began her career as a clinical research psychologist, earning degrees from Emory University (B.A., Psychology and African-American/African Studies) and the University of Miami (M.S. and Ph.D., Clinical Child/Family Psychology) and focusing her research and clinical work on ethnic minority families, adolescent development, and health disparities. She later earned her M.Div. from Duke University. With her unique background in behavioral health, theology, and race/gender studies, her work focuses upon identifying and healing the individual and societal legacies of racial and gender oppression."

What appears to be legit? Her bio has nothing to do with if the story is true or not. Who has dinner with a black friend and starts using the 'N' word?

On that point, yes, there's the question of whether or not it really happened. When I searched her name, her tweets did come up saying that people were "upset" by her tweet, to wit: she doubled-down on the story. I agree with you on the essence that it most likely didn't happen. The legit part is that it is published book, by a real-life human being.

Her twitter is chock-full of scary racist indoctrination. https://twitter.com/drchanequa?ref_src=twsrc^google|twcamp^serp|twgr^author

I didn't read what she actually wrote so I don't know the details of the story, but my gut instinct to an answer to that is "any kid that grew up since about 1990 and heard every black kid use it like their first name, but didn't fully appreciate the context".

I can completely imagine some dim bulb using the "a" inflection and thinking it's cool because our society has been teaching that for 30+ years. Now... the "er" version? Unless the white guy at dinner was Clayton Bigsby, no one would do that. 100% false.

I believe in the sayings of "Brother Dave Gardner" (50's comedian),
"Love your enemies.......and drive them nuts!"

This^^^ You can call your friend a 'stupid ****' but how would you react if a total stranger did so. I have heard my old school uncles in Philly call each other or friends 'wop' or 'pollack' all in good fun and camaraderie, a stranger doing the same would be in for an ***-whipping. Unless you REALLY know the people involved, you just don't use those words because context controls whether it is harmless fun or offensive. I have to believe it is the same with the N-word

If 'but some entertainer did it' is somehow an excuse then our standards have fallen further than I thought

I'm beginning to think she said she wants God to help her hate white people for shock value and as a power play. Sort of like saying, "I can walk down the street screaming, 'Kill all the Honky, Cracker Neanderthals and burn their babies alive!' and no one will even try to stop me because it's OK to hate whites."

Anyway, she got what she wanted; she's famous.

Oh my gosh! I just realized I assumed her gender and pronouns. I guess that show just what a Neanderthal I am.
